    Dances with Wolves, Extended Version.
    Demolition.
Former had beautiful scenarios, amazing cinematography, amd really rebounded with me on how John Dunbar wanted to explore the Wild West before it was gone. The last true frontier of freedom and it was beautiful.
Demolition was a very good movie on grief and rediscovering yourself. Gyllenhaals character also reminded me of myself in the sense that he had a childlike wonder towards things he would do, he didnt have ill intent or ulterior motives, he just did things because he liked doing them and they were fun.

      >Dances with Wolves, Extended Version.
This is great, especially since it focuses more on Dunbar by himself. The movie gets a bit corny after the romance starts, but its still amazing.

    MISSION IMPOSSIBLE - DEAD RECKONING - PART 1 (2023)

    FULL SPOILERS!!!

    PROS
    > Great score.
    > Hayley Atwell as Grace is a great addition to the franchise. Atwell's mannerisms & personality especially in her introductory scenes are effortlessly charming & sexy. Her along with Ilsa Faust & to a slightly lesser extent Jane Carter from Ghost Protocol show this series more than almost any other in the modern day knows how to do fantastic inspiring but nuanced female characters. They balance showing her competence while having realistic limitations (she is a shit driver & knows it, she can fight but is clearly vastly inferior to Ilsa in that regard)
    > Ilsa's final duel with Esai is solid.
    > Esai Morales is not the best villain of the series (that would be PSH in MI3) but is firmly good.
    > Some people had problems with the AI villain but I did not.
    > Cruise is just as good as always but is finally showing his age.

    CONS
    > Several scenes both important & trivial seem to drag on fairly longer than needed.
    > Killing Ilsa (who I consider among the greatest modern action heroines) was a tragic mistake and one of the few times I agree with the feminist concept of "fridging".

HOPES FOR THE FUTURE OF THE SERIES
    > Ilsa is revealed to be alive.
    > They give Hunt a final cherishing respectful send off similar to Maverick's treatment in Top Gun 2. I fear Cruise's star power is the only thing keeping the series non-woke & Hunt from getting trashed / humiliated like Indiana Jones & Luke Skywalker. I think he profoundly needs to exit the series while he still has the influence to protect the character.
    > I hope they dive into Paris's history and I hope she stays good when given the chance to return to Esai.

      RANKING / RATING THE SERIES!

      >> Rogue Nation = Fallout
      Great

      >> Ghost Protocol = Dead Reckoning - P1
A lesser level of Great. Both would likely be the best of the series if not for 1 major flaw each (GP = Worst villain of series / DRP1 = Killing Ilsa)

      > MI3
      Very Good

      > MI1
      Good

      > MI2
Decent (need to re-watch, has been ages)

      Absolutely.
I screamed it the other night when my kids were watching Brave. The scene where Merida's mother is telling her not to loose another arrow and--in slowmotion--she nocks, cuts her cheek with the fletching, and looses the last arrow right into the center of the last target, splitting the previous arrow in two, the head bursting out of the back of the bull's-eye.
