>genuinely happy
Ehm, not sure exactly what you mean but roughly a month ago I watched Young Frankenstein which made me laugh a few times, it even had one the tropes frogposters love
I just saw Lisa Frankenstein in theatres. It was a cute, campy little gothic romcom. Also directed by Zelda Williams and the lead actress is hot as frick
The ending of Bad Boy Bubby always gets me choked up. Makes me feel like any moron that comes from a bad past can be truly happy one day. We're all gonna make it, bros.
A girl told me to watch this but said I couldn’t watch it yet and I still haven’t seen it. She said I was like one of the characters I don’t know the characters though
It's was a relaxing watch. Actually felt like something you'd go to the cinema to watch and I've been cinema like three times in the last ten years. I watched it at home but it was a new movie with hype that was actually ok other than the men are le bad parts
Here, you can have 1987;
Adventures in Babysitting 1987
Evil Dead II 1987
Full Metal Jacket 1987
Planes, Trains and Automobiles 1987
Predator 1987
RoboCop 1987
The Lost Boys 1987
The Monster Squad 1987
The Princess Bride 1987
The Untouchables 1987
Walk Like a Man 1987
Dances with Wolves, Extended Version.
Demolition.
Former had beautiful scenarios, amazing cinematography, amd really rebounded with me on how John Dunbar wanted to explore the Wild West before it was gone. The last true frontier of freedom and it was beautiful.
Demolition was a very good movie on grief and rediscovering yourself. Gyllenhaals character also reminded me of myself in the sense that he had a childlike wonder towards things he would do, he didnt have ill intent or ulterior motives, he just did things because he liked doing them and they were fun.
>Dances with Wolves, Extended Version.
This is great, especially since it focuses more on Dunbar by himself. The movie gets a bit corny after the romance starts, but its still amazing.
The 4 hours I spent pausing all the time kust to look at the scenery. God willing Ill be in the midwest in 2-3 years building a cabin in the Rockies or in the Colorado Plains.
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE - DEAD RECKONING - PART 1 (2023)
FULL SPOILERS!!!
PROS > Great score. > Hayley Atwell as Grace is a great addition to the franchise. Atwell's mannerisms & personality especially in her introductory scenes are effortlessly charming & sexy. Her along with Ilsa Faust & to a slightly lesser extent Jane Carter from Ghost Protocol show this series more than almost any other in the modern day knows how to do fantastic inspiring but nuanced female characters. They balance showing her competence while having realistic limitations (she is a shit driver & knows it, she can fight but is clearly vastly inferior to Ilsa in that regard) > Ilsa's final duel with Esai is solid. > Esai Morales is not the best villain of the series (that would be PSH in MI3) but is firmly good. > Some people had problems with the AI villain but I did not. > Cruise is just as good as always but is finally showing his age.
CONS > Several scenes both important & trivial seem to drag on fairly longer than needed. > Killing Ilsa (who I consider among the greatest modern action heroines) was a tragic mistake and one of the few times I agree with the feminist concept of "fridging".
HOPES FOR THE FUTURE OF THE SERIES > Ilsa is revealed to be alive. > They give Hunt a final cherishing respectful send off similar to Maverick's treatment in Top Gun 2. I fear Cruise's star power is the only thing keeping the series non-woke & Hunt from getting trashed / humiliated like Indiana Jones & Luke Skywalker. I think he profoundly needs to exit the series while he still has the influence to protect the character. > I hope they dive into Paris's history and I hope she stays good when given the chance to return to Esai.
>> Ghost Protocol = Dead Reckoning - P1
A lesser level of Great. Both would likely be the best of the series if not for 1 major flaw each (GP = Worst villain of series / DRP1 = Killing Ilsa)
The Florida Project. It's a sad movie but it made me happy that I watched such a well made movie that was made relatively recent (2017?), only just saw it last week.
don't remember the last movie I cried at before this one. maybe one of the toy stories when I was much younger.
must not be much drukchad representation itt
Absolutely.
I screamed it the other night when my kids were watching Brave. The scene where Merida's mother is telling her not to loose another arrow and--in slowmotion--she nocks, cuts her cheek with the fletching, and looses the last arrow right into the center of the last target, splitting the previous arrow in two, the head bursting out of the back of the bull's-eye. >HOLY KINO, KIDS! IT'S KINO! KIIIIINNNOOOOOO
on the 10th of January 2024 i watched "All Is Lost" and i cant even remember the last time i felt such strong emotions

Treasure planet
Almost famous
Just an all round upbeat movie, even the ending is great
One of my favorites.
It’s one of those movies that I sometimes find hilarious and other times really depressing, though. Either way, I enjoy it.
I fricking hate that movie. The 70's were a mistake.
Be still.

Pixar's "The Incredibles" and the endless fanart it has inspired.

Watched the other day for the first time and my black heart actually felt something
A girl told me to watch this but said I couldn’t watch it yet and I still haven’t seen it. She said I was like one of the characters I don’t know the characters though
I can't comprehend someone being told that a character in something is like them and not immediately going to find out why.
She told me to not watch it yet so I didn’t
>doing what women say
ngmi
I'm simple.
I guarantee she meant Mr. Collins
When I watched this a week or so ago. It's so heartwarming.

I’d never seen it before. It’s very bleak, but it was nice to watch a genuinely good movie for a change.
My Spidey sense tingled when I passed the movie shop and this time I knew they would have Raimi's Spiderman.
I just was watching earlier and cheered when he called Randy Savage a homosexual and no streaming service took it from me.
Did streaming services really cut that scene? Lmao what a bunch of fricking babies

Turbo Kid
Re-watched T2 a few weeks ago. Reminded me how awesome films were back in the day.
I rewatched it 2 weeks ago. It still sucks except in the second act when Sarah tries to kill the scientist.
T2 is great homosexual
no it's utterly predictable except for the second act when sarah does a left turn out of nowhere
BR 2049. Not a Goose fan but into cyberpunk/neonslop.
The Konosuba movie. That was CINEMA.
I love konosuba
The movie was so good, pretty funny, good story, funny villain, fun fights, climactic end
Does it have good Darkness fanservice?
Also do I need to watch the series to fully enjoy the movie

Top Gun Maverick and before that Mad Max: Fury Road
Dances with Wolves, Extended Version.

Decent (need to re-watch, has been ages)
The Florida Project. It's a sad movie but it made me happy that I watched such a well made movie that was made relatively recent (2017?), only just saw it last week.
in theaters? Fury Road
I watched Wake in Fright the other day. it was kino but the real kangaroo massacre scene made me kinda sad
April 5th, 2023
Wasn’t expecting one of the best horror films of all time when I first saw this.
What's that?
Suspiria ‘77.
I watched Clue for the 20th time recently and laughed a lot.
Grand Budapest hotel
“Moscow does not believe in tears”
Made me feel like there’s hope and escape from this capitalist hellscape.
Seven Psychopaths. It's been a while since I've seen a movie that genuinely entertained me from beginning to end.
The last one I really found fun was Smokey and the Bandit
Good movie.
>bare feet on the poster
kino
Kingsman.
That buttfrick scene made feel all warm and fuzzy
The first half of The Iron Claw.
Nothing makes me happy anymore. Nothing.
This movie was surprisingly funny and wholesome, I never heard of it before but it was some good 90s kino
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.
love me some Piccolo
love me some Gohan
love me some Kaiju action
Simple as.
for me it's
careless happiness
don't remember the last movie I cried at before this one. maybe one of the toy stories when I was much younger.
must not be much drukchad representation itt
The Departed makes me giddy tbh. I love everything about it.
Amelie.
Just saw it in theaters yesterday, knew next to nothing going in. Pure kino
Watched Old Boy with a couple of children a few days ago and that was very fun.
I like old movies about the hood, even the race politics then feel more tasteful cause they still put a lot of blame on themselves.
The ending of The Howling. The film was a decent but pretty standard werewolf/horror movie. The last 5 minutes were phenomenal.
>COMING SOON TO A HOOD NEAR YOU
Made me feel all the emotions, reliving the recent loss of my grandma all over again.
Watched this yesterday. Gorgeous film.
Beautiful movie, arguably better that Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Top Gun 2 and American Made. Literally the only two movies in clown hell that I have enjoyed.
Has anyone actually screamed "kino" at their screen?
Not a film but still
DUNC Part 1.
this was just a great straight-forward movie. it really scratched a specific itch
One of my favorites from last year.
I liked it. Made me read The Catcher in the Rye again.
My gf and I watched Castle in the Sky a few weeks back. I've seen it like 12 times. Still love it just as much as I did the first time.
I watched Bullet Train hammered and had a total blast.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was similar. also blitzed for that one.
Yeah I like Bullet Train too. Had its own flaws and all but it was fun overall. ATJ can be the next Bond.
Pure kino
Godzilla minus one
idk, JW4?
that or The Holdovers
this one. it still makes me happy and that's so, so fricking rare
I giggle every time I watch napoleon dynamite
I have a soft spot for prison break movies
A few weeks ago, The Martian, so I kept rewatching it.
Ernest goes to auschwitz
i got stoned and watched the orginal roadhouse and had a lot of fun
New one looks like mindless slop kino
The Fault in Our Stars
