Is it true that the later books have Aliens?

      Anonymous

Vampires are people possessed by interdimensional spirit aliens that built Atlantis

Let's see how well I remember this shit. All vampires are connected to a core, which is why if you try to burn the first vampires (called Those Who Must Be Kept) all vamps get burned up as well, with younger ones reduced to nothing but ash.

Way back in Egyptian times, the queen Akasha and her consort Enkil became the first vamps after a mischevous spirit called Amel possessed Enkil though mortal wounds inflicted at the hands of assassins.

We learn in the Prince Lestat books that a wise avian civilization from space, think Chozo in Metroid, created a paradise on earth, the "Atlantis" referenced by Plato in Republic. The spirit Amel is what remains of one of its leaders, who I think was banished and killed for disagreeing with the higher ups.

At the end of Queen of the Damned, Mekare fulfills her promise to Akasha and butchers her before Akasha can enact her master plan of male genocide. By eating Akasha's heart, and brain in particular, Mekare becomes the new core: the new "Queen of The Damned".

After Rhosh and Gregory murder Mekare's twin sister, Maharet, the mute Mekare looses her will to live and passes the core onto Lestat. Who quite literally sucks the brain and vampire core out of Mekare's eye socket, becoming the strongest vampire as if he wasn't already.

Used to be my favorite vampire movie but then I read the book and the book is much much better and they could have made a really great movie out of it but didn’t so now I’m a Lost Boys fan.

That the 90s were so based you could have both homos AND pedophilia in a big movie and cast Brad Pittu & Tom Cruising as the lead

    whatever
in this movie you're every second being told Lestat is entertaining and funny, while he never is.
that alone, i don't speak of the gayness and other nullities, should suffice for you not to talk about this movie.
