They aren't people after they become vampires they're immortals without a soul that's why I left that was fascinated by Lewis he clung on to his humanity despite being a monster
Let's see how well I remember this shit. All vampires are connected to a core, which is why if you try to burn the first vampires (called Those Who Must Be Kept) all vamps get burned up as well, with younger ones reduced to nothing but ash.
Way back in Egyptian times, the queen Akasha and her consort Enkil became the first vamps after a mischevous spirit called Amel possessed Enkil though mortal wounds inflicted at the hands of assassins.
We learn in the Prince Lestat books that a wise avian civilization from space, think Chozo in Metroid, created a paradise on earth, the "Atlantis" referenced by Plato in Republic. The spirit Amel is what remains of one of its leaders, who I think was banished and killed for disagreeing with the higher ups.
At the end of Queen of the Damned, Mekare fulfills her promise to Akasha and butchers her before Akasha can enact her master plan of male genocide. By eating Akasha's heart, and brain in particular, Mekare becomes the new core: the new "Queen of The Damned".
After Rhosh and Gregory murder Mekare's twin sister, Maharet, the mute Mekare looses her will to live and passes the core onto Lestat. Who quite literally sucks the brain and vampire core out of Mekare's eye socket, becoming the strongest vampire as if he wasn't already.
Used to be my favorite vampire movie but then I read the book and the book is much much better and they could have made a really great movie out of it but didn’t so now I’m a Lost Boys fan.
whatever
in this movie you're every second being told Lestat is entertaining and funny, while he never is.
that alone, i don't speak of the gayness and other nullities, should suffice for you not to talk about this movie.
the execution scene where they seal the two vampires in the bottom of a dry well to be hit by direct sunlight was the most memorable part of the movie to me
People are not meant to live for eternity
They aren't people after they become vampires they're immortals without a soul that's why I left that was fascinated by Lewis he clung on to his humanity despite being a monster
*That's why he was fascinated by Lewis
Voice to text go to hell

Cruise looks subhuman next to Pitt
Pitt makes Cruise look like Ben Stiller.
If you don't adapt you die/don't dwell on the past.
Living with Tom Cruise is a b***h even before Scientology.
gays=pedo groomers
Is it true that the later books have Aliens?
Vampires are people possessed by interdimensional spirit aliens that built Atlantis

wut?
Book lore. The anon asked about aliens.
Wait, Queen of the Damned is a prequel?
it's a sequel that has flashbacks to establish backstory
This reads like a very bad Harry Potter fanfiction.

Does he make a better Armand than Banderas?

Why are vampires so zesty, bros
Lestat always wins.
Jesus, Mother and mercy
Ding! Ding! Ding!
The new Claudia is distracting, good thing she'll probably die this season.
Did she really deserve her fate?
Yes in the books she's especially evil and spiteful and really has no redeeming qualities

That the 90s were so based you could have both homos AND pedophilia in a big movie and cast Brad Pittu & Tom Cruising as the lead
whatever

The moral is OP is a homosexual and always will be, now witness these digits.
shut up Louis
Who here spent the past thirty years wishing they were a vampire?
this is the gayest movie ever made
i loved ever minute of it
This movie doesn't get credit for having some of the most beautiful painted backgrounds on film
Kek! Evil won. And they made it in a way that people didn't even realise that.
>moral
It's entertainment. Stop overthinking things. You don't have brainpower to spare.
the execution scene where they seal the two vampires in the bottom of a dry well to be hit by direct sunlight was the most memorable part of the movie to me
Louis told the story bad. Lestat did nothing wrong. Not one thing.
