All of it. Literally every frame. Watching it is like being forced to do scat porn for homosexual israelites.
I only watched two episodes before dropping it. Felt like they were ruining it on purpose.
The stills look pretty good. Probably better than the original.
The reveal scene was pretty kino. Sadly it went downhill from there.
>Hiring moronic hack manchild Kevin Smith
>Not making it about fricking He-Man
>Turning Teela into a "strong female" dyke
>Token negress
>Skeletor is... Le incel! Tricked by offer of sex!
Tonally awful, with most of the worst modern politically correct bullshit writing trends injected in. Who the hell was this shit even for?
Is it worse than the 90s one?
Yes.
He-man barely even shows. Literally only appears in the firs and last episode and for like 1 minute each. It's Teela's show and how much better she is than He-man
>Token negress
Guess the hair color of the character in the original?
Pretty sure "Andra" was blonde and never appeared in the cartoon. You'd think they'd just make her an original character. And maybe bother to give her a good design, character, anything.
I remember her from the comics but I think her hair was reddish orange rather than yellow
That's just the first part, it was released in two parts. It gets worse.
In the second part He-man reveals that he doesn't like being he-man, he just wants to be a little boy, and She-man Teela and She-man evil lyn have a big showdown after realizing they don't need no man.
Skellitor and Evil Lyn are tied for the worst parts of the whole god awful mess. Skelitor instead of being the big brain wizard with plans within plans, is a fricking idiot now, and Evil Lyn went from being his twisted subby to his abused girlfriend.
The moral of the story as far as I can tell is men are just dumb animals and should quit trying.
Basically lying to he viewer about what the show was about and then blame him for not liking to be tricked. And this is without mentioning any agenda
>What went wrong?
Ws he always a gigantic homosexual or did he change once he had his daughter?
if you smoke too much weed you turn out like this. it also causes you to cry a lot more often
the intro makes me want to strangle someone. why is it just a bunch of tweening. what the frick why couldn't they at least animate the goddamn intro.
Glad I gave up the stuff years ago.
So he wants a finger in the ass?
is smith admitting that he had to let someone finger his bunghole to get into show biz
does anyone have the comic where he's doing a face under he-man's skin?
He's shocked and delighted to find a finger up his butt?
I command you to praise 2002 Skeletor as the best Skeletor.
I prefer OG Skeletor with his extremely shrill cartoon voice and shitty animation
Robot Chicken Skeletor is pretty good too
Well he was. And he won at the end of the first season which was fricking epic.
By the end you're just like
>Come on skellitor you can do it. You've learned all the lessons, you've got all your friends, it's the perfect you've thought it through now all that's left it to just knock it in.
AND HE DID
I cheered.
Can I watch He-Man 2002 on streaming anywhere?
Why would you want to? It isn't great.
No. Original Skeletor is the best.
It's a shame because the animation is pretty good, but otherwise it's shit
It's not bad as long as you assume it is a cartoon for lesbians and not he-man fans.
Anons, there is another He-Man show on Netflix & it's way better. My kid watches it & it teaches good lessons. Also, Skeletor is pretty funny in it.
It does do some rewriting but nothing horrible. Mostly He-Man shares the power of Greyskull with his friends, so they get "transformations" like he does, so the wizard girl becomes Sorceress, a tech guy becomes Man at Arms, a cute tomboy becomes RamMa'am (her dad was Ram-man) etc. They each get a transformation & a supermove. Fits pretty enjoyable. On the other end Skeletor & his "Dark Masters" get transformations fuelled by Havoc instead of the power of greyskull.
>Ram a man
wait, so she's misandric?
Ram-Ma'am. As in a lady who rams
This little shortstack looks pretty tumblr-y but she is a tomboy who mostly just wants to hang out Inna woods. She has some character development down the road I won't spoil tho
zoomers obviously don't know who he-man was
boomers shouldn't want to still be watching he-man cartoons
remakes are a crime against art and nostalgia should be confined to youtube
They tried to do too much in too little time, and Teela isn't especially interesting. There's some cool action.
MOTU has never had a good show, though. The CG one might somehow be the best of them, and that isn't praise.
kevin smith wrote it. they completely wasted some of the voice actors. also he man takes a second seat for most of the show
I prefer El Bananero's take on the franchise
IVAN
Will Langelletor ever be topped?
He was better than that movie deserved.
>the first teaser that heavily featured He-man had like 7-8 million views
>the trailer for the second part of S1 had only like 1mill
lol lmao
The end of the first episode is some of the worst writing you'll ever see for anything.
>He-Man/Prince Adam is dead
>his parents (the king and queen) are understandably devastated
>Man-at-Arms is also crushed since it was his responsibility to protect Prince Adam; also the king just fired and banished him
>and then here comes Teela
>screaming at everyone about how upset she is
>what she is upset about?
>Prince Adam/He-Man dying? Nope
>her dad Mat-at-Arms being banished? Nope
>she's upset that no one told her Prince Adam was He-Man
>that's it
>that is literally it
>she doesn't give a FRICK that he's dead
>she's pissed she didn't know he was He-Man (Prince Adam's father ALSO didn't know; he only found out when he was told He-Man died but who cares about him right)
>the cartoon (Kevin Smith) treats Teela as being in the right and acting like a fricking psychopath
>acting like a fricking psychopath
Well, he named his daughter after a comic book character he wanted to frick.
Bait and Switch. That's all remakes are.
They want us watching their diverse wokeshit. But know nobody likes it, so they dress it in the corpse of the thing we actually liked.
>brown nipples
not my he-man
He-Man show without He-Man.
Fricking brilliant.
It's actually a shame that Smith fricked it up as the animation is kino and the best the characters (for the most part) have looked. Also Tony Todd as Scareglow was perfect. And seeing a competent and smart Skeletor actually ruled.
This really could have been something fun. But of course Smith's feminist fetish ruined it.
