That 2 seconds at the end of the season was not what fricked up that show.
It was gutting soul for what they thought could make it more broadly marketable, which is dumb when Netflix's approach to originals started as creating niche content so different market segments all have different reasons to subscribe.
Cucking Vicious' character into being lame Draco Malfoy was dumb. Making Julia a boss b***h was dumb. Making the Syndicate play out like a CW drama was dumb. Making Gren into some generic gay that calls themselves nonbinary was dumb. There's more, but all of the depth of the show was all filled in and made shallow.
