yeah this is closer to accurate, about 10 blocks in all directions
as you can see, the vast majority of the city is untouched even with 3 separate detonations
the yield is not as important as a the dissipation rate, which is exponential at any yield
the blast wave carrying heat away from the explosion, and the radiation are what you have to worry about, the chance that you're actually shredded by the explosion itself is pretty low
so spreading out many explosions evenly over a large area is how you actually wipe out civilization infrastructure
Inverse square law means that for all explosives past a certain yield you need to make the bombs much larger than is practical for only a marginal increase in the destructive radius. It makes more logistical sense to make a larger quantity.
Let me introduce this new bomb technology! The hydrogen bomb! 100 megatons? No problem!

Two 50MT bombs properly targeted will destroy a larger target area than one 100MT bomb. There's a reason no one has bothered to make anything that large, most of the energy is wasted.

My favorite one is Teller scaling up a design to such a size that the delivery system was just listed as 'Backyard'
The fireball is accurate, but they did not show the shockwave, radioactive fallout, or the return of the air after it had been pushed out by the detonation acting as a secondary shockwave and also instantly igniting an enormous firestorm with flame as tall as buildings thanks to the sudden influx of oxygen.
That kind of yield would that be? Nukes seem really underwhelming in reality, no wonder you need 4-5 for every target
Imo way too small
Compare to the footage of that fertilizer plant that detonated in Indonesia a few years back, or the classic Halifax explosion. (Which fricked up the whole city, happened way out in the bay, and was only 3 kt) The shockwaves should have ripped across the city breaking every window for miles & raising dust and smoke like a thousand 9/11s. Surviving structures should be on fire. A ground detonation = ungodly rain of burning & molten debris for several minutes. The city should look like it descended into Hell, not like it had three little whoopsies.
It's dependent on how accurate they are trying to be too the source material of the games. In the fallout universe rather than relying on an arsenal of thermonuclear weapon with megaton yields, China and the US instead opt to build a lot more smaller bombs similar in size to the little fat man device used on Nagasaki.
Part of the reason being anti ballistic missile systems, the Chinese launched something like 100 bombs at the Las Vegas strip area, and the anti ABS system got most of them. But if they where willing to launch 100 bombs at Las Vegas who knows how many they dropped on DC, there's craters from dozens of impact sites in fallout 3 in the DC area shown.
There's also the much more likely reason and the stupid writers are lazy fricking morons.
The Great Plains would be fricking creamed in a nuclear exchange in an attempt to limit a counter strike. Living out where the USAF has nuclear silos and bomber bases is as much of a guarantee of catching a nuke as living in a major city. The only people who might get a break are mountain dwellers.
Do these morons even do basic research? Nukes are exploded high in the air
Exactly. Airburst well over the target (a) and the entry phase is at like, mach 27. You'd see an afterimage of the streak at best.
Can you really just do whatever you want with a nuke (set it on fire, shoot it, kick it) without it going off because it isn't "primed"?
It's not that it isn't "primed" - it has to be triggered. It is a bomb within a bomb. The outside bomb compresses the inner enriched media target. The outside bomb has to explode perfectly, or the enriched media is simply blasted out one side without undergoing nuclear fission.
It’s moronic how they all launched at once in he beginning because that’s not how they work. Then again it would have looked stupid had they fired intermittently.
nukes are smaller in scale than that, it would actually be dozens of smaller explosions if a city was actually targeted
theres no rational reason for an attacker to target a city however, since destroying the city wouldn't prevent a full strength counterattack
cities would still be wiped out, but it would be from hunger or radiation, not a quick explosion
What would I do? Slowly die in pain and fear
It won't happen since there's no advantage to firing
>theres no rational reason for an attacker to target a city however, since destroying the city wouldn't prevent a full strength counterattack
The only purpose of nuclear bombs is to kill civilians hence the reason why israelites were the first to make them while Christian physisists risked their lives to stop it
Counterforce with the onset of the ICBM, countervalue on civilian populations is a waste of a nuke, or belligerency to cause surrender, still not a guarantee.
the other homosexuals replying to you are wrong but communication hubs, industry and airports are prime targets and those are often in and around big population centers
it's not like you can't look up old sowiet and US target maps
>theres no rational reason for an attacker to target a city however, since destroying the city wouldn't prevent a full strength counterattack
this is absolute cope tier bullshit stemming from homosexual academics overthinking it.
Haven't your type learned anything from ukraine? If a zigger or xigger monkey has to send everything out the window. Which target will he prefer >the silo in the middle of nowhere that may or may not be empty by the time their inaccurate pieces of shit actually get there >or downtown new york
I an actual war the asian monkeys want to kill as many burgers as possible. Which means exclusively bombing major logistical nodes like deep water ports and urban concentrations. They are going to get hit anyway so they will do it out of pure spite to maximize the damage
>theres no rational reason for an attacker to target a city
To crush an enemy you must crush it's capability to wage war a large civilian infrastructure target is very reasonable in that sense.
>It won't happen since there's no advantage to firing
If a particularly bloodthirsty religious cult happens to gain control of, say, the American government then all bets are off and if they feel they are under attack and this this is their only option they will absolutely use them.
I really think Black folk be as ignorant as those asshats in pic related. The average normie is so disconnected from actual human emotions and Actions, its quite fascinating
I live in an major city so my chances of survival are already near zero, so there is no point in investing in anything beyond a two week supply of food and water in my basement (on the off chance I'm not vaporized/crushed by the shock-wave). But these two had everything working in their favour to survive a nuclear strike. And you are totally right, 99% of people would be as clueless as them.
I thought the same thing at first because it's expected that a nuke would drop on the city, not on the water next to a bridge. but if you pause the video it's pretty clear the epicenter is in the water just behind the bridge. so basically it wasn't that big an explosion, just close enough to the bridge to destroy it and little else.
anon bay area drivers can't see a car stopped in front of them they wouldn't notice until the mushroom cloud until it started peeling the paint on their smart car
>The blast was so powerful that it physically shook the whole country of Lebanon. It was felt in Turkey, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, and Israel, as well as parts of Europe, and was heard in Cyprus, more than 240 km (150 mi) away. It was detected by the United States Geological Survey as a seismic event of magnitude 3.3 and is considered one of the most powerful artificial non-nuclear explosions in history. Almost all nuclear waste is stored right at the plant that produced it, or nuclear research facilities like Hanson. The feds have wanted to bury it all hundreds of meters below a mountain in Nevada since 1978 but it's never been built because of politics, especially Harry Reid (high seniority senator from Nevada). It'll probably finally get built after he kicks the bucket. In the meantime, the utilities running the plants have received probably 20 billion dollars by now for the cancellation of the contracts to move the waste.
What's your point? What does Hawaii or the US have to do with anything? You realize there are first world countries outside of the US?

to be fair it was a metric frickload of it (like 3 large warehouses) and fertilizer is extremely energetic which is why it helps plants. The main ingredient in most common fertilizers is also the main ingredient in the most common explosive.
Could have been a secret nuke but generally I assume it's simpler for spooks to just make the thing they claim happened happen rather than fake it and cover it up. Easier to hide a detonator or steal a plane then carry out some elaborate tech intensive secret attack then cover up every possible hole in the story.
This is about a five hundredth as powerful as the average nuke in the US arsenal and about one fifty-thousandth as powerful as the largest nuke ever dropped.

Nukes are a meme that have constantly been overhyped by the media for decades, we should use them more often
I love how moronic the plot is for this, the plan was to bluff all the nuclear states to launch all of their nukes at once and then self-destruct them so they had nothing left to defend themselves with against Cobra Commander, because of course all the nuclear armed countries have 100% of their stockpiles ready to launch
>They don't claim to have nuclear weapons.
A couple of their politicians have threatened the use of nukes, and were then told to shut the frick up about it by the government. It's an open secret.
What you can see nicely here is how the shockwave gets reflected from the ground and forms with the extending sphere a high pressure zone blasting over the surface. That's why they are triggered at a certain altitude.
I think at the first Manhattan test detonation one of the lead eggheads just sat in a truck cabin without the goggles. But yes a welder helmet would work if you are staring straight into the flash
I think at least the old nukes were primed with dynamite, so if you set it on fire you might get an explosion, but it probably wouldn’t explode in the way it’s intended, so the final reaction probably wouldn’t happen. You’d just render the bomb inoperable if it were to happen and end up with the uranium/plutonium and some scrap metal.
But the bombs even then were likely designed to not go off from something as simple as being exposed to fire. You’d have to partly disassemble it to expose the explosive material somehow.
actually triggering the nuclear reaction is very difficult and involves a lot of very exact forces
getting it to blow up a little and drench an area in lethal radioactive dust is not as hard
Do my best to survive, I guess. I live in a small town on the edge of the woods, so would have some time to react before the fallout reaches. Probably seek refuge in one of the thousands of ancient caves across the hills and mountains of Appalachia in which I live.
Many here have partially underground concrete tornado shelters as well which is better than nothing. Ideally, I don't have to live through a global thermonuclear holocaust, but it's a real possibility.
Planet will survive. Life on the planet, probably not.
I think it depends a lot more on the velocity of the asteroid than its mass.
If that’s a scene from the show then I’m pretty sure they did the math. It makes sense that using thrusters, you couldn’t get an asteroid of that size up to the speed needed to make it a planet killer by the time it moves from the Kluiper belt to Earth.
But a massive asteroid hurtling through space of that size that natural forces of gravity and the universe? It could be hurtling at exponentially, even astronomically higher velocities relative to Earth than what even the advanced thrusters in the show were capable of pushing it up to.
Thats just a random pic, but in the show yeah they use thrusters and while it doesnt end earth, they send almost a dozen iirc and it really screws with things. Asteroid Belt terrorist who gets a big following
What if you woke up in the middle of the night after missing a date with your potential gf only to go to a diner and just happen to be walking by a pay phone that rings when you walk by and you pick it up and get a call from a guy working in NORAD who was supposed to call his dad but called the pay phone instead and let slip that you had to GTFO immediately because the birds are in the air and you have 2 hours to live though?
Genuinely surprised that only two nuclear bombs have ever been used in war
Not a strike against military targets or an EMP attack or tiny tactical nuke or even a dirty bomb
Be thankful I own hundreds of books since electricity and internet are probably going to be offline for a while. I'm at no risk of dying since I don't live in or near a major city and my community is largely self sufficient and will just rely on peoples' farms to keep everybody fed.

yea the nuclear arms race was just a ploy to drive up the property price in montana
why would that be safer?
it's like standing next to a man with a rocket launcher, if someone wants to stop him from using it you might get hit too.
no, those would be priority targets. End up being a highly radioactive area after a nuclear exchange, if nukes were actually real
The Great Plains would be fricking creamed in a nuclear exchange in an attempt to limit a counter strike. Living out where the USAF has nuclear silos and bomber bases is as much of a guarantee of catching a nuke as living in a major city. The only people who might get a break are mountain dwellers.
Which is why Heinlein moved to Colorado... only for SAC to move in next door.
All the silos are out in the plains
Do these morons even do basic research? Nukes are exploded high in the air
troll or moron, difficult to tell
Exactly. Airburst well over the target (a) and the entry phase is at like, mach 27. You'd see an afterimage of the streak at best.
It's not that it isn't "primed" - it has to be triggered. It is a bomb within a bomb. The outside bomb compresses the inner enriched media target. The outside bomb has to explode perfectly, or the enriched media is simply blasted out one side without undergoing nuclear fission.
FunFact!: This original sequence was to be about 4 min. long but was cut back due to 9/11.
It’s moronic how they all launched at once in he beginning because that’s not how they work. Then again it would have looked stupid had they fired intermittently.
70% of nuclear missiles in the world are under israeli control right now
Just a thought
nukes are smaller in scale than that, it would actually be dozens of smaller explosions if a city was actually targeted
theres no rational reason for an attacker to target a city however, since destroying the city wouldn't prevent a full strength counterattack
cities would still be wiped out, but it would be from hunger or radiation, not a quick explosion
What would I do? Slowly die in pain and fear
It won't happen since there's no advantage to firing
>theres no rational reason for an attacker to target a city however, since destroying the city wouldn't prevent a full strength counterattack
The only purpose of nuclear bombs is to kill civilians hence the reason why israelites were the first to make them while Christian physisists risked their lives to stop it
Counterforce with the onset of the ICBM, countervalue on civilian populations is a waste of a nuke, or belligerency to cause surrender, still not a guarantee.
>theres no rational reason for an attacker to target a city
Except to, you know, exterminate the civilian population of the opposing nation and ensuring that it will never again rise as a challenger.
> theres no rational reason for an attacker to target a city however,
the other homosexuals replying to you are wrong but communication hubs, industry and airports are prime targets and those are often in and around big population centers
it's not like you can't look up old sowiet and US target maps
>theres no rational reason for an attacker to target a city however, since destroying the city wouldn't prevent a full strength counterattack
this is absolute cope tier bullshit stemming from homosexual academics overthinking it.
Haven't your type learned anything from ukraine? If a zigger or xigger monkey has to send everything out the window. Which target will he prefer
>the silo in the middle of nowhere that may or may not be empty by the time their inaccurate pieces of shit actually get there
>or downtown new york
I an actual war the asian monkeys want to kill as many burgers as possible. Which means exclusively bombing major logistical nodes like deep water ports and urban concentrations. They are going to get hit anyway so they will do it out of pure spite to maximize the damage
US and Russia have enough nukes for a countervalue strike thoughbeit
>theres no rational reason for an attacker to target a city
To crush an enemy you must crush it's capability to wage war a large civilian infrastructure target is very reasonable in that sense.
>theres no rational reason for an attacker to target a city
You are very naive. The whole point is to kill as many goyim as possible.
Strategic nukes are about that size. Tacticals are smaller though yeah
>It won't happen since there's no advantage to firing
If a particularly bloodthirsty religious cult happens to gain control of, say, the American government then all bets are off and if they feel they are under attack and this this is their only option they will absolutely use them.
If what you say is true then how come the palestinians havent done something like this?
Celebrate the death of hundreds of millions of leftists, homosexuals, and shitskins
I think all countries should have nuclear weapons
I would say, “you don’t have to tell me what happened, but you DO have to eat these” as I handed her a bowl of iodine tablets.
Honestly, I would probably pounce on the nearest hot woman and rape her before we both die
At least I'd go out happy
I really think Black folk be as ignorant as those asshats in pic related. The average normie is so disconnected from actual human emotions and Actions, its quite fascinating
I live in an major city so my chances of survival are already near zero, so there is no point in investing in anything beyond a two week supply of food and water in my basement (on the off chance I'm not vaporized/crushed by the shock-wave). But these two had everything working in their favour to survive a nuclear strike. And you are totally right, 99% of people would be as clueless as them.
NOT THE BRIDGE, HOW WILL I GET TO WORK
>nuke blows the golden gate away
>barely moves the foliage around
wut?
RIP THEM ALL DOWN
I thought the same thing at first because it's expected that a nuke would drop on the city, not on the water next to a bridge. but if you pause the video it's pretty clear the epicenter is in the water just behind the bridge. so basically it wasn't that big an explosion, just close enough to the bridge to destroy it and little else.
Look on the bright side, without the bridge, you can't commit sudoku.
>HOW WILL I GET TO WORK
Americans really think like this.
For San Francisco it’s more like “HOW WILL I GET MY FENTANYL”
KWAB
I recall asking Oppen about this. Said the yield was probably about5-10Mt. Was he right?
>Nuke goes off in the nearby city
>Traffic moving normally on the bridge
huh
anon bay area drivers can't see a car stopped in front of them they wouldn't notice until the mushroom cloud until it started peeling the paint on their smart car
>M-m-mr Shekelstein I think I might be 15 minutes late for work today as I have to swim across the San Francisco Bay
The Palestinians can't do shit that the Israelis don't allow them to do. Palestine is and was an open air prison in every sense of the word.
Nukes are cool, if we all had one there would be less problems in the world
Is this from Beirut?
yeah, the Beirut boom boom
Didn't some end up in some foreign TV show or something
>The blast was so powerful that it physically shook the whole country of Lebanon. It was felt in Turkey, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, and Israel, as well as parts of Europe, and was heard in Cyprus, more than 240 km (150 mi) away. It was detected by the United States Geological Survey as a seismic event of magnitude 3.3 and is considered one of the most powerful artificial non-nuclear explosions in history. It was powerful enough to affect Earth's ionosphere.
Christ all this from some fricking fertilizer?
Haha.
Yeah, sure man. Fertilizer.
Small yield fertilizer has been exploding quite a lot around the world lately.
AND
That was ~ 1 kilotonne
It fricked up all of central Beirut, though only killed 200/injured 7000
Modern nuke warheads are clusters in the 300-500 kt range
Five
Hundred
Times
Bigger
Fallout series' nukes are little love taps
>tfw I live right next to a ammonium nitrate stockpile that is 6 times larger than Beirut's
Am I going to be ok bros?
you could go down in history. not even kidding, just a match and some flammable materials and
Do you think they just store it out in the open? It doesn't work like that.
Not to mention, I do NOT want to blow myself up, thank you very much.
Dude we all gotta die sometime, but imagine though, just imagine for a minute, how it would be like to go out in a glorious explosion
Plant a raspberry pi and make a timed release, also pull the fire alarm remotely to prevent injuries before you do it and set up a 4k camera for the lulz. Post the vid to catbox and get the (You)s
yeah could you imagine what would happen if someone just stored like 6000 tonnes of the stuff in a completely unsecured dock, stored fireworks right next to it, and then like, fricking, used a arc welder right next to it
no one would be that dumb
I know you're being sarcastic, but you are talking about a third world country. First world countries have strict regulations. There is high security and preventative measures, like zero flammable sources within the designated areas.
It's still dangerous obviously, but it's like comparing US escalators to Chinese ones. Last I checked nobody has been swallowed by a US escalator.
yeah, basically. we take anything that could kill millions of our own people seriously. like, man, what a lockdown we had. deaths in the single digits.
>First world countries have strict regulations
You've just been forced to live next to a stockpile in one of two locations.
One is in a third world country.
The other is in a first world country.
Pick one. If you refuse both you'll lined up against a wall.
Now go on, pick one.
>The other is in a first world country
oh shit i forgot america was the size of hawaii
Elaborate.
>can't answer the question, because the implication is that the safety standards are wildly different
That's my point.
I really can't argue with someone who thinks stockpiling nuclear waste in deserted small towns is a sign of how secure Americans are when it comes to their regulations.
>fertilizer is nuclear waste
What level of moronation are you on?
>feigns ignorance, even though he knows what i'm talking about
Wow, you're even stupider than I thought.
Your point makes zero sense. Try again.
What's your point? What does Hawaii or the US have to do with anything? You realize there are first world countries outside of the US?
>Your point makes zero sense
Seeing as how you're obviously neither American nor white, I'm just going to assume the point went right over your head.
>can't articulate or argue his point at all
Don't worry, we already know you're black.
If you actually want to attempt a discussion I'm all ears, or you can continue to beat your chest like a gorilla. Up to you.
>not even a hint of a denial
I accept your concession, my brown friend.
So you continue to beat your chest, very telling.
I'll wait for an actual argument any moment now...
>me: there's different levels standards handling fertilizer depending where you live
>you: well dey store dem nuclear wastes in dem small towns
Actual fricking moron.
>reddit spacing
Not a good idea to get genuinely mad in the middle of a smug comeback. I accept your concession, though.
>still no argument
I happily and honorably accept your concession. If you want to concede even further, please make sure to reply to me again.
>he's still going on about muh argument
This is just sad. Good concession, though. I accept it.
kek, you actually replied. Thank you for your concession anon.
I feel sorry for you.
I don't think about you at all.
>he's frantically updating the thread anyway
lmao
>having auto refresh on is "frantically updating"
is this what's it's like to be new?
>admits is true anyway
lmao
>doesn't understand how this website works
first time?
Frick, second post was meant to be:
Sorry
^this anon read
and was too fricking stupid too understand the problem. This board is populated by morons.
Nuclear waste sitting in open storage casks on site at reactors for years on end is bad, how much more simplistic do you need it to be spelled out?
You might be the dumbest fricking person I've encountered on this board. The dunning kruger levels are off the charts.
You're too fricking stupid to read the conversation. It was never about nuclear waste. It was about ammonium nitrate.
I realize the US education system is fricked, but PLEASE try to keep up.
>deserted small towns
>It's always in the middle of some godforsaken small town
What the frick is this mindworm you're on about. They store it at the plants that produce it.
>They store it at the plants that produce it
Because nobody else wants it in their hometown lol
Never mind that said plants are nowhere near major cities.
well...uh...americas....not the size of hawaii. im not really sure how to elaborate on this any further. is this really your question?
Both are shitholes in their own regard, what's your point? It's not like they stockpile nuclear waste in fricking Calabasas, California. It's always in the middle of some godforsaken small town ravaged by fentanyl.
In the meantime, the utilities running the plants have received probably 20 billion dollars by now for the cancellation of the contracts to move the waste.
harry reid died like 5 years ago
it's not getting built because power companies get a shitload of gibs for keeping it onsite and actually solving a problem is the worst way to make money
I meant it as a joke about how it's still not happening even though the main obstacle is dead.
>"it could never happen here!"
>"this is the first world, bad things don't happen to us!"
?si=2yDTjH8x-DMJHO0h&t=21
>it could never happen here!
Now try again, but this time without the strawman.
to be fair it was a metric frickload of it (like 3 large warehouses) and fertilizer is extremely energetic which is why it helps plants.
Name the 10 best nuclear war movies of all time
I don't think I can list 10 off the top of my head

I'd thank the good people at VaultTec™ for providing me with a Vault to comfortably sit out the nuclear holocaust in.
Flee to Mars
at that distance? die.
Thank God it's finally over and go back to playing viday until the blast wave takes me out.
Nukes are a meme that have constantly been overhyped by the media for decades, we should use them more often
movie?
GI Joe 2
I love how moronic the plot is for this, the plan was to bluff all the nuclear states to launch all of their nukes at once and then self-destruct them so they had nothing left to defend themselves with against Cobra Commander, because of course all the nuclear armed countries have 100% of their stockpiles ready to launch
Not to mention nukes usually don't have self-destruct function implemented.
kek imagine the awkward moment where one of them is like "self destruct? Nah we didn't implement that because why would we?"
Why does Israel have a nuclear football? They don't claim to have nuclear weapons.
>he believed the word of a israelite
ngmi
>football
>weapon
found the bong
What do yanks say? Nukeular arms?
What do yanks call the pigskin they throw around in their handegg games? A football? Well maybe stfu then.
>They don't claim to have nuclear weapons.
A couple of their politicians have threatened the use of nukes, and were then told to shut the frick up about it by the government. It's an open secret.
JFK threatened to cut ties with them over their nuclear weapons program and look how that turned out.
> they translated "arm" like in "arming a weapon" to "bras" which means "arm" that like in "human arm"
lul
Those cracks at North Korea were funny.
Sigh, it's never gonna happen is it?
What you can see nicely here is how the shockwave gets reflected from the ground and forms with the extending sphere a high pressure zone blasting over the surface. That's why they are triggered at a certain altitude.
Nukes? No. God pelting the surface with stones from heaven? Yes.
never give up hope bro, we will all burn some day 🙂

I wonder if an auto darkening welding helmet would function quickly enough to block the flash ?
Can it function at the speed of light?
Well if it didn’t then welders would get arc flash when using them…
google "PLZT goggles"
Yeah they're pretty quick to stop your eyes from getting melted by the light from the welder.
I’m sorry anon but I don’t think a welding helmet will save you from a nuclear explosion
I think at the first Manhattan test detonation one of the lead eggheads just sat in a truck cabin without the goggles. But yes a welder helmet would work if you are staring straight into the flash
Die, probably
Can you really just do whatever you want with a nuke (set it on fire, shoot it, kick it) without it going off because it isn't "primed"?
yes, you have to prep the bull.
Saw it in Fast 8. Whole submarine with nukes exploded and ja rule was like "it's fine because of the mechanism" or soemthing.
I always knew Ja Rule was smart
Yes. It is a forced reaction which can only occur under very specific particle-scale conditions.
Very smart of them.
bascially
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1961_Goldsboro_B-52_crash
Rape
If I was a future anon Id be more worried about some gay redirecting asteroids at Earth like in the Expanse
thats a planet ender
Let's make it happen!
They do end Earth in the long run.
Speaking of velocity...
You should be more worried about a mass driver on the moon chucking moon rocks. Whoever controls the moon controls the earth.
Frick your rocks. I'm here for your sun.
alot harder to maintain course to the sun without getting fricked by mercury or venus or their moons gravitational pull
I listened to what it said and thats what everyone did

What if you woke up in the middle of the night after missing a date with your potential gf only to go to a diner and just happen to be walking by a pay phone that rings when you walk by and you pick it up and get a call from a guy working in NORAD who was supposed to call his dad but called the pay phone instead and let slip that you had to GTFO immediately because the birds are in the air and you have 2 hours to live though?
say loudly, before the shockwave hits:" your time will come, israelite!"
Genuinely surprised that only two nuclear bombs have ever been used in war
Not a strike against military targets or an EMP attack or tiny tactical nuke or even a dirty bomb
Be vaguely sad that the city in which I grew into adulthood was destroyed, but otherwise go on with my life since I no longer live in LA.
>Stand aside fricking shits
other than having already died from poisoning probably not much. probably sneedposted or something
Run back to my loved ones if I weren't with them at the moment. Would take appropriate measures to protect them from harm however I could.
thinking about how shitty and gay the world is then vaporized and blasted into the cement
rape
Find all the women i can and rape them. they all deserve it
Be thankful I own hundreds of books since electricity and internet are probably going to be offline for a while. I'm at no risk of dying since I don't live in or near a major city and my community is largely self sufficient and will just rely on peoples' farms to keep everybody fed.
Sucks for citygays though.

hawaii nuke threat "survivor" here. i woke up like, 40 minutes into the 50 minute warning thing. my folks had gone to breakfast and decided to just stay, figured just relaxing eating was a decent way to go out, didnt message me (dont blame them, i wouldnt of answered, shits on silent)
my reaction? came here
Is that one incest copypasta that takes place during the Hawaiian nuke alert true
you get iodine i think
Americans really love their nukes and dream of the apocalypse. I think it's due to them being cursed by the indians they genocided. Too bad they will probably take the rest of the world with them.
STOP ARGUING ABOUT STUPID SHIT AND POST MORE NUEK KINO

Easy, outrun the shockwave until it dissipates (I have run at 10mph in the past but could probably push it to 15 if I wished)
