As far as original music goes, it's hard to top Road To Rhode Island, followed by Folks At The Freakin FCC. I'm sure a lot of younger viewers think songs like You Make Me Feel So Young and Shabupi originated with FG.
I do need to say that Mr Booze, Bag Of Weed and Christmas Time Is Killing Us are fricking awful

Mr booze is great and the tweaks they made to the original were inspired.

The animation for it kills my soul though. Especially the crowd shots where everyone is rigged to the same exact motions.

      >Road To Rhode Island is lifted from Road To Morocco
I should have looked that up before typing all that. Oops. I don't know, OP. Just consider this a free bump.

I still count it. It's my favorite song from probably my favorite episode of Family Guy.

      >Christmas Time Is Killing Us
I have a guilty pleasure with this song. I like to play it in December when I'm working. This and Futurama Christmas songs.

That feeling of working to the bone and everyone around you walking on air celebrating Christmas.

People hated that song? I always liked it, how grim and dark it felt.

I was so disappointed when I found out they stole Mr. Booze. Like holy frick, if you're going to have big musicals at least be original.

Considering how many bits he stole from the Simpsons, both I'd guess

You're awful. Yes the animation on the crowd looks awkward as frick but the actual song is great.

      >Saying Christmas Time is Killing Us is awful.
Fair enough. All I Really Want for Christmas shits all over it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aa22MBGkl9o

Mr booze was the only good part of Robin and the 7 hoods. I'm glaseth put it in the show because I'd rather not watch any scenes from the movie. It's dogshit

Shipoopi isn't a Family Guy song m8, like it's not even a case of the reworking a melody with new lyrics. It's just straight up a song that already existed that Family Guy used.

One of the biggest advantage Family Guy songs have over Futurama songs is the voice quality because of Seth Macfarlane.

Does this count as an American Dad song if it was written before this just as a normal song?

I'd vote no. Like "No Children" and "Like a Friend", they might be more famous for their cartoon appearance than their original album, but in all three cases, they were clearly using the songs in the spirit of a licensed song- adapting something existing to something else.
