I don't think this has ever been disputed by anyone who believes in these at all. The issue is when someone does something that no amount of action will make up for.

The problem is that he's spouting this shit while talking about characters that he's only refused to kill or tried to paint as deserving of forgiveness and redemption because he intends to keep them around for that one more totally epic idea that's gonna make jaws drop and sell thousands of books. Not because he's actually writing stories about how the villains deserve forgiveness, just that he likes how high minded and philosophical it sounds to blather on about those topics. And then he goes and shoots those villains in the face once he's out of ideas.
Redemption doesn't come when you fix what you did wrong, that's just returning to the baseline. No, you have to go above and beyond and STAY there to be redeemed. Piccolo doesn't get redeemed just because he decided to not conquer the world, it was only after he was willing to sacrifice himself to save the world that he was truly redeemed.

They're bad but there's much worse. They're SOL troony-bait disguised as capeshit. His older stuff was actual action book, at least, but they still weren't particularly good.
He was responsible for the digital first comics for Injustice, both 1 and 2, meaning he was responsible for some pretty loathed stuff. Those comics were also hilarious, though.
They're mid-annoying and preaching, which is much worse than a bad comic you can laught at. These guys are unhinged but I'm not surprised Taylor attracts them.

Most of his shit is more a boring bad rather than something like Marville, Nemesis, or new 52 Lobdell. And Injustice pages ruined how a lot of characters are seen by the public but that's also partially the fault of the video game.
Nah, it's basically comic twitter's Hitler. Even a lot of the batfamilygays that were eating out of the palm of his hand a couple years ago have changed their minds because his run never got farther than mindless fluff, Babs has been reduced to Dick's girlfriend, and Dick's reputation and personality has taken a hit without anything noteworthy to offset that (like badass feats, good worldbuilding, or an actual good story).

I don't hate any writers, since I don't follow cape continuities, though I'm all for bad writers getting ousted. I do, however, largely avoid bad, obnoxious writers like Tom Taylor, Tom King, Bendis, Matt Fraction, Mark Russell, Dan Slott, etc. The ones I do dislike are their fans, the people that made them by buying and praising their books, and their dedicated haters, because they keep creating a buzz about them and giving them reasons.
