I can't remember if he did but he certainly went along with the shadow boss plan
elaborate
>helps tony over junior despite junior being official boss in S1 >talked shit about tony wearing shorts to carmine in S3 >the whole ginny arc >being the secret driver in the first NY Jersey split regarding the HUD scam >being an insecure frick and needing to clip everyone who you think might have heard someone who knew a guy who made fun of his fatass wife in order to keep fear and discipline >trying to get tony to take out carmine at a time when tony would obviously get blamed for the hit and his own power would increase tremendously >whacking little carmine's prostitute lorraine caluzzo to start a war (seriously, a woman) and then whacking a bunch of capos
Really the only thing he was "pragmatic" about was pretending to agree with Tony on the HUD cut but if you read between the lines it's obvious he's playing Tony and fully intends to double cross him
>carmine's prostitute lorraine caluzzo
Frick, what a stupid death. Lorraine was a very interesting character and would have been a great addition in this italian sausage fest of a show. They did her dirty
who the frick else could become boss of the NJ family? 2 of 4 captains were a rat, Albert Barese? He goes to jail 1 episode later. Junior and Tony were the only suitable bosses de-facto bosses.
Carmine was the only competent boss, which is why he died of old age in freedom. The others all had a chip on their shoulders and fricked things up as a result.
Wouldn't have worked. His power level was at least one magnitude higher than Tony's.
means he would've been more menacing. Phil was too much of a meme to be an effective end game bad guy
Yeah, tony should have been able to take Phil out by the end of 6a, Sack gets out of Prison on compassionate furlough or whatever the frick, becomes final surprise boss, betraying tony. Pottery.
Wrong.
picrel is the source of all of the problems
Zellman causes the rift between NJ and NY over his real estate scams. and he causes the separation between Tony abd Carmela over his affair with Irina
I mean whacking carmine was a high risk move and tony had hardly anything to get by it so refusing was the right to do. Tony's fate was sealed when he agreed to whack rusty, he basically did it out of friendship and that led to phil becoming boss
Rusty never wanted the job. He was like Sil. >who still hated tony
And why is that? Tony should have done the deed and handing Tony B. And he should have whacked Vito.
rusty would have tried to have someone else become boss like he did with carmine jr., either way he was on friendly terms with tony so he wouldn't have gone out of his way to wage war against new jersey

>he was on friendly terms with tony
No, he wasn't. He was friends with Little Carmine, not Rusty.
At the end of the day, every problem stemmed from Tony's terrible leadership and his lack of makings required in a varsity athlete.
Staying neutral with New York was Tony’s biggest mistake. Should have put John in his place as number two and backed carmine jr. To the teeth. The last two seasons can basically be called the downfall of Tony soprano.
he wants to frick her for a million?
>johnny convinced tony to become the boss in season 1
I can't remember if he did but he certainly went along with the shadow boss plan

>ah-bloo-bloo why doesn't organized crime just have a HR department
Who are you quoting?
>ah-bloo-bloo
kek haven't heard this in a while
tony ask johnny for help with the junior thing
>carmine's prostitute lorraine caluzzo
Frick, what a stupid death. Lorraine was a very interesting character and would have been a great addition in this italian sausage fest of a show. They did her dirty
>the whole ginny arc
He was unironically right about that though. Even Tony admitted it.

>Albert Barese
frick that parakeet
he was right, it's all about intimidation, if he allows others to dissrespect him soon he would have a bullet in hos head
Yeah and the point of that scene was basically to explain Johnny is full of shit and just yells to seem important

Man his wife was fugly
She’s Rubenesque
>likes bbws
Literally me
Carmine was the only competent boss, which is why he died of old age in freedom. The others all had a chip on their shoulders and fricked things up as a result.
No it wasn't. The biggest problem was Tony being a nepotistic frick who had a soft spot for his moron cousins, Chrissy and that animal Blundetto.
He's an emotional man
Let's also not forget that meeting Johnny Sack at his house is ultimately what would've led to the gun charge.
what the hell is this?
kek, in the fricking detergent box, never realized that
Average American dinner.
Fat people have to eat large amounts of food to maintain their weight.
should've been the final antagonist of the show too.
Wouldn't have worked. His power level was at least one magnitude higher than Tony's.

I agree with you.
Yeah, tony should have been able to take Phil out by the end of 6a, Sack gets out of Prison on compassionate furlough or whatever the frick, becomes final surprise boss, betraying tony. Pottery.
>Final meeting with Tony and Johnny to discuss Phil Leotardo
>Cut to black
A lot of things didn't happen that seem like they happened.
whatever happened there
What the frick was his problem?
He was on a lot of coke at the time
born handsome instead of rich
Not making over easy
small hands
Kid wasn't his
Ho ho ho, what do we have here? What is this a handsome contest?
he was a good earner
Wrong.

So it was a racket for the israelites?
I mean whacking carmine was a high risk move and tony had hardly anything to get by it so refusing was the right to do. Tony's fate was sealed when he agreed to whack rusty, he basically did it out of friendship and that led to phil becoming boss
Like what? The only thing he arguably did wrong was whacking Lorainne.
killing rusty destroyed tony
How?
johnny was certainly going to die so phil(who still hated tony) was one of the top candidates for boss position and that's what happened
Rusty never wanted the job. He was like Sil.
>who still hated tony
