          Those events are in the Amazing Spider-Man tie-in issues to civil war (#532-538) but they’re by no means the main focus. JJJ’s reaction was shown on like one panel, and the suing thing was mentioned offhandedly by Peter. He really had more pressing matters at the time

    MLJ's the Black Hood. Certified super-hero, he had his identity revealed by a villain in 1945 and became a private detective still known as Black Hood.

    Actually, MLJ's Steel Sterling was super-powered, wore a costume with no mask and everyone knew his real name. That would be around 1941.
