>terrible dialogue
>bad writing
>uninspired directional
>awful character designs
>cheap, downright amateurish animation at parts
Man, I came in expecting nothing but this movie was rough. I don’t know whose bright idea it was to release it in this state.

>Why are people calling this a masterpiece again?
Because the creator of it cut off her breasts and is living life as a man who looks like a twink with AIDS.
rent free much?
These people make it the forefront of their personality, they don't want us to ignore it.
Who, transphobes?
Do you see people with straight flags in their bio?
The USA flag? Thousands
I hope you are embarrassed for even typing out that train of thought.
I hope you are embarrassed for being american
Lol, Americans live rent free in your head. How does it feel that we don't think of you at all?
Transphobia is default. It's natural to be disgusted by those abhorrent frankensteins.
Rent free.
See
You will never be a woman.
Thanks for affirming my trans male identity anon! I knew you were on our side!
they usually pay with suicide
>rent free much?
I don't like adult women cosplaying as teenage boys
If anything, it's much better when teenage boys cosplay as women
She took the tomboy swimsuit challenge literally. Sick woman.
>"lesbian" wife cheats on her
>fricks a cute boy
>get tired of sleeping on the cuck couch
>become the cute boy
Many such cases
>Hates her breasts so much she cuts them off
>She now walks around with weird, plasticy nipples and scar lines for the rest of her life
>Somehow, this is visibly preferable
I'm sorry, how the frick is this not a mental disorder anymore?
>If anything, it's much better when teenage boys cosplay as women
How is it "rent free" if it's literally relevant to the discussion? Do you shareblue tourists really only have one line programmed in to defend the Sacred Eunuch Caste?
>it's literally relevant but I am going to bring it up anyway because it's the only thing I can ever think about
That's how it's rent free.
You mean "irrelevant". Or is there something you're not telling us?
The only people saying it's amazing are delusional freaks. It's literally what
Said.
Go look at the r*ddit for the movie. It's pathetic
>hurr no one can like anything i don't agree with because my extremist fringe politics are secretly what everyone thinks despite everyone crossing the street to get away from me
uh huh
I'm deeply concerned that there are "people" unironically defending troony pandering on Cinemaphile now.
I miss old Cinemaphile
You set yourself low expectations and spent the entire movie looking for flaws to b***h about.
No, man. This is the first movie I’ve seen in a long while that feels downright amateurish.
Because the creator is LGBT+ and it has LGBT+ stuff and you aren’t allowed to criticize any of that.
Because Disney and Pixar have been pumping out nothing but duds for the past several years. For every decent film they do, they have like 3-4 mediocre or offensively shitty ones. The biggest irony is that this movie could've been a Disney production had they not canned the original studio that was working on it. The result is a 7/10 straight-to-streaming movie is just gets headlined is the latest in a wave of animations that are owning the Disney and their woke agenda..
Yeah, I don’t find it surprising that Disney passed on this lmao
>The result is a 7/10 straight-to-streaming movie is just gets headlined is the latest in a wave of animations that are owning the Disney and their woke agenda..
But Nimona is even more woke.
Not as much as Lightyear and Strange World
But this one has even more gay stuff.
And yet it's better.
Not really no
You're comparing different kinds of shit at this point. It's still shit at the end of the day.
The Japanese already figured this out some years ago. It isn't that anime or manga got any better in the past decade overall, but rather other industries like western comics declined in that time. No need from a corporate perspective to make anything stellar if "good enough" is all that's needed to top the heaps of trash out there. Some examples of anime and manga are exceptions, but for every solid one there are nine others that are mediocre. There's a reason why people say a one-eyed man in the land of the blind is king.
A difference between Japan and Hollywood is that Japan will cancel everything that doesn't make money. People will tell you that Hollywood is risk averse but that literally only applies to making new IPs, they are willing to continue to do any trope that's known for decreasing sales. You can't look at something like The Acolyte and tell me "Hollywood is risk averse, that's why they are doing a series about trans siths"
>Hollywood is not risk averse except with risky things
What did he mean by this?
You're contradicting yourself in your post
this is literally the same situation as the car industry in the 70s and 80s. american cars back then were as horrible as soviet ones, once toyota and honda arrived it was game over.
I'm surprised this comparison isn't brought up more often, it fits very well.
I remember people keep saying that Romanian cars do not run that well is it true? Might be because it was on used to be the most authoritarian commie blocs
I'd say this is a case with the animated film industry as well, if Illumination and Dreamworks (to a smaller extent) are anything to go by. I would count the gaming industry as well, but I'd argue it's more a happy coincidence in the case of indies. Non-film indie animation, too
(Forgot to elaborate that I don't think the indie stuff is as mediocre as the other examples.)
>The result is a 7/10 straight-to-streaming movie
This is a vastly exaggerated rating. It's a 4/10 in reality and a 5/10 if you're being generous.
>race swapped the guys
>chopped off blondie’s hair
at least they got rid of Nimona’s stupid haircut
>her current hair cut is good
To be honest I think people would be harsher on it if it was in theaters but since it's just on Netflix and you got the whole "evil Disney didn't want this movie released" narrative it's getting credit it wouldn't have otherwise.
I can’t blame Disney. This shit would be detrimental to their brand.
It's also guaranteed to have been another theatrical flop. It's barely cracked the top 10 on most of the sites that do Netflix viewership stats. Put a $10-20/per person barrier to entry and there's no way that would do well in cinemas.
Plus if you look at most Blue Sky films the successful ones tilted heavily international - I don't see this one doing those kind of numbers. It'd be closer to Epic box office wise and that might be generous. The only reason I don't think it'd be a Ruby Gillman level bomb is there's at least some brand recognition with the comic and Stevenson even if it's pretty weak.
This movie is definitely best suited as a direct-to-Netflix kind of film. Like a bin bargain DVD release. It's cute for what it is. You can tell that the production was tortured, though.
what the frick even is this? I didn't even know it existed until the day it released when a bunch of high profile artists started gushing about how good it is and spamming twitter about it
It was the latest film Blue Sky was working on before Disney axed the whole studio.
It's based on the webcomic turned graphic novel by N-whatever-name-she-uses-now Stevenson who made Netflix's She-Ra.
>Movie looks unfinished
>It has 6 or 7 fricking writers, couldn't get Stevenson cause frick it.
>The movie is gonna be forgotten like all the other woke movies.
Looks like shit, but toon Twitter will still defend it.
Only degenerate fujoshis could possibly enjoy this. If you get rid of the gay shit, you’re left with an unfinished, formulaic, amateurish mess of a movie.
Still better than Indy 5 and Elemental, somehow.
>Indy 5
Pretending that it’s bad doesn’t make you original. You’re just regurgitating chud grifters’ talking points.
>muh Fleabag emasculated me!!!
kys
Oh yeah, totally convincing review. I'll go give the movie 5 stars now.
I work in animation and it's really funny to see everybody on Twitter raving about how great it is and the same people are in discord group chats shitting on it lol
Wait, really? They're being two faced about it?
Do tell..
I said "the same people" but I'm kind of exaggerating. Every discord chat I'm in with other pros universally agrees that it sucks. A lot of people will say stuff like "well, production was hard..." and try to be nice about it. Everybody seems to have a problem with Stevenson being the face of the whole thing since they didn't really do anything other than sell the book. Twitter isn't a great place to know anybody's real opinion. That's why I come here
>discord chat I'm in with other pros
homie, why you lying?
A lot of animation people come to Cinemaphile it's not that big of a deal
Why does it look so unfinished? What went wrong? Did Netflix cheap out? Was Arcane lightning in a bottle?
Arcane was funded by Riot (AKA Tencent), not Netflix.
>Why does it look so unfinished?
It was supposedly almost finished before it was sold off to Netflix so it is a wonder if this really is how they wanted it to look in theaters. Dunno how much money Netflix invested in the thing to finish it. Maybe it just wasn't enough to get it to look like they would've liked it to.
Woof.
Guess Netflix didn't give them that much of a budget.
It’s darker, but I’m not sure if it necessarily looks better. Too low-res to tell. And the assets look just as low detail.
I think it was always doomed to be a turd.
they saved the dragon design for a more impactful moment
I think they’re tying to make it a similar style as Puss in Boots and Spiderverse but doesn’t pull it off well. Also they race swapped a few of her characters for diversity and made them even uglier if that’s possible.
Remember that criticizing something without providing concrete evidence and examples is something the wokies do.
You don't want to be a wokie now, do you?
Why is LGBT art never good?
This is the anti-Nimona
>no LGBT agenda
>traditionally feminine heroine
>pro-straight relationships
>pro-family
>love for one’s country/people
>monocultural
>beautiful animation and design
>non-woke
Wasn't this the Shinkai where he was planning a yuri relationship but was denied so he made the love interest into a fricking chair?
No. Shinkai intially wanted to have no romance at all and instead wanted to have a sisterly relationship between two girls. The producer told him that romance will help sell the movie, so he reworked the female character into Souta, made him a love interest, and turned him into a chair to minimize romance’s role in the story. Shinkai also stressed that he has no plans to make LGBT stories.
But the West is degenerate so when he said the story would be about two girls, the intervener thought he meant lesbian shit.
Sounds like yuri shit
cope harder
>cope harder
“Shinkai said he is not actively seeking out LGBTQ+ stories”
Fake news western media just ran with it because it fits the current political climate. Suzume was not a romance originally, and was only reworked into one at the request of the producers because “Your Name” was so successful. Shinkai doesn’t even entertain the idea of a same-sex romance in that interview.
So basically it was as gay as Luca ie. Not gay at all and is instead about family.
Correct. Western media are actively working towards dismantling traditional human dynamics, portraying brotherly love between two comrades as homosexual (Nimona), while pushing male/female platonic relationships. It’s an inversion of the natural order. Japan is our last hope. I’m sure seeing a sisterly dynamic in Suzume would have been interesting, but in our current political climate perhaps it’s best not to give LGBT ideologues a single “win.”
Straight out of the horse’s mouth, yuricuck.
>Japan is our last hope.
lol
>Bamco will be responsible for the legalization of gay marriage
An abstract kind of feel
>Shinkai also stressed that he has no plans to make LGBT stories.
Kek Cinemaphile cope
>love interest is a chair
I require elaboration.
>Pro-straight
The only thing straight about this film is Suzume's spine after laying her sweaty dumptruck ass on Souta's accomodating backrest.
Imagine even trying this in a western country.
Or how about watching anything with a femoid in the lead role.
*not watching
>shinkai
literal slop tier, sub illumination even. absolutely no reason to praise these movies on their own merits
>beautiful hand drawn animation has no value
You’re a fricking moron. Gobble up your u ugly CGI slop.
It looks just as woefully generic.
Suzume sucked, sorry you wasted your time posting about here to try and get an own on a dev hell comic book movie.
I don't like Shinkai but man it's even insulting to compare his work with this low quality Amerimutt woke garbage. Nobody watches this garbage other than Amerimutt millennial losers
This movie felt like the anti-thesis to Belle.
Belle fricking sucked.
>pro-straight relationships
>love interest is a chair
The director wanted a lesbian story... The studio said "no, only het" so the director made the man a chair instead of having a het story.
Soulless trash from a thieving AI tard.
This movie was kinda shit and I am saying this as an anime fan.
I enjoyed Your Name and Shinkai's older anime like Voice of the Stars and 5cm a lot, but his last two movies were bad IMO and they all seem like a lesser version of YN which was the first movie he had a massive success with. What was good were the side characters and the jokes, the plot itself made no sense and after running to the third or so door it started to annoy me a bit.
is it actually good? aside from all the wokanda and RGB? imdb and rotten seem to like it. cant be totally shit, right?
it's ok, it made [punk click for me for some reason
It's just shills.
Because it's a good movie.
Because its a western cartoon with homos and the main character is generic short hair bulldyke OP. Its immune to criticism from that alone
>{thing} has gays and I hate gays, therefore {thing} is automatically bad
>{thing} has gays and I support gays, therefore {thing} is automatically good
>{other thing} doesn't have gays and I still hate gays, therefore {other thing} is automatically good
>{other thing} doesn't have gays and I still support gays, therefore {other thing} is automatically bad
who needs a good story or a nice style or literally anything when we can reduce everything to simple tribalism
Name a good thing that has gays
Hadrian's israeli Extermination Adventures
Doom Patrol
Funny for something that did so well on Netflix no one talks about it after it came out. Was it that unmemorable?
Amerimutt thing. You can notice the nobody here talks about Steven Universe here anymore. Mutts always go all in on one trend and collectively praise it with mob mentality and forget everything right after the show ends.
I rarely ever held Blue Sky in high regard but it's sad this is their final note. I wish Scrat Tales or whatever it was, and their personal animation of him eating the acorn, was their last associated work to ever be released. Not this stupid fricking bullshit with this type of character. I remember when Cinemaphile would look at a character like that and scoff at it. Now we have multiple morons who genuinely call it their waifu.
why are lefties so racist and sexist
is there even a single show or movie like this but the genders reversed?
I haven't seen it, but the way you're describing it guarantees you're an obsessed homosexual having a tantrum.
>Why are people calling this a masterpiece again?
Because we have jack shit right now and some people are so insistent to watching "NEW THING" that they'll watch today's shit over yesterday's masterpiece.
That said, you're a clown and have shit taste. It was good-to-decent and you're just whining because you think it'll be an easy bait thread.
>jack shit
June and July have been packed with so much stuff it’s all flopping, there is stuff
Jack shit that's really good. I've seen Mario, Elemental, Spider-Verse, and this. Nimona is probably the best but that's not really saying much. Just last year there was a much better lineup.
I liked this movie a lot and it's timely, considering all the fascism and fear mongering going on.
Let go of that proto American puritanism that has wormed its way into our culture. There are better ways to live your lives than propping up pilgrim propaganda.
>Left does puritanism
>"And here's why that's a good thing"
>Right does puritanism
>"And here's why that's fascism"
You frickers keep setting precedents and then get mad when the right follow suit.
Stop normalizing bad things if you don't want them to happen.
shut the frick up don't pretend that this movie wouldn't shove gay propaganda if it could get away with it. The fact it shoves all that shit in the background so the two dumbassses can actually be characters is the only good thing about the movie
There are two reasons
>on Cinemaphile
Because people here have a bias against Disney, Miles Morales and (for some strange reason) Ruby Gilman, so a movie coming out on Netflix is seen as this rebellious “give it to the man” gesture. The fact it escaped Disney cancellation makes it seem like an underdog so they use that to brag about this movie, insulting the other animation releases for not being “as good”.
>anywhere but here
It’s a big gay movie released the same day the supreme court ruled against gays and people love that kind of content. Also the disney cancellation stuff I mentioned.
The story behind the movie has more value in these discussions than the actual movie itself.
> good character design
> good story
so, i wrote my gay erasure reverse rape fanfic.
now im trying to decide. do i want to do some e-girl content, or some ethical bestialtiy? would nimona like to get fricked while in animal form? i like to think so.
manhandling size
nimona in e-girl form literally being used as a fleshlight.
kino.....
wide breeding hips
>would nimona like to get fricked while in animal form?
no, she would be THE one to frick in animal form
thats also based.
but there aren't really any other women in the women for her to rape as a dog or horse or whatever.
Time to correct the Director.
hmm, a 'breaking quiet' situation with director pinned down, and nimona as the horse?
Sounds good to me. The rougher the better.
im not sure, the director really isn't hot... too old-womany for my tastes.
Your other choices would be the female newscaster from the start of the movie or one of the female knights, I suppose.
Sure. Do it all.
I think this film would've been better off as a n action game, honestly. Kicking knight ass using the several forms Nimona has in her disposal would've definitely compensated for all the gay shit.
but would you get to crush the patriarchy and transphobic establishment in the video game?
i would need to try to sit down and piece it out, but i honestly dont even know what the ostensible message of the movie was supposed to be when she started b***hing about "kids grow up learning to stab anything that is different" but at the same time wanted to completely overthrow the government, and like destroy the walls?
ill chalk it up to shit writing just like she-ra i guess.
>but would you get to crush the patriarchy and transphobic establishment in the video game?
Depends, but t bh if the gameplay's good I wouldn't even care about that aspect much. I sort of envision the ideal Nimona game as a "Majora's Mask, but w/o the more 'frustrating' aspects" sort of deal.
Hold up. I suspect OP is some combination of shiil or moron. Check the last thread on the show. You have people definitely liking it, people whinging about how gay it is, but they arent' felating it like a masterpiece, or dumping on it like it's a SOP.
So, OP, exactly who the frick do you mean when you say call it a masterpiece? And were you aware of the comic or the creator's other works before watching it?
I'm guessing OP is a Twitter tourist. One in a million on Cinemaphile.
I saw the trailer with the gay couple and I lost interest in seeing this movie
I see a lot of praise for the visuals but this looks like a cheap preschooler show at best.
There's such a thing as a "state of the art", being ignorant isn't an excuse.
Gays.
Also to try to "get back" at homophobic Gisnep for daring to cancel said movie about gays.
It was fricking hilarious how everyone treated Blue Sky's closure as some huge loss when in their 34 years of existence they produced only one good movie, with the rest of their output being pure shit
First 2 Ice Ages and Rio were good though.
This. Ice Age, Rio, and I'll throw in robots and Nimona. That circle of movies is better than Illumination
>It was fricking hilarious how everyone treated Blue Sky's closure as some huge loss when in their 34 years of existence they produced only one good movie, with the rest of their output being pure shit
This - though I'd lean more mediocre than shit.
I always associated the studio with uninspired but ultimately harmless animated movies for kids and honestly Illumination now covers that base way better than they ever did.
>in their 34 years of existence they produced only one good movie
*4
Rio
Robots
The Peanuts Movie
And Nimona
You could argue for the first Ice Age, but I don't think it was very good.
*2. Robots and peanuts only.
>Talking shit about Rio
The fact that people responding directly to this post can't even agree on which of Blue Sky's movies were good just shows how underwhelming they were as a studio.
If someone said which Pixar movies were good, you would get a lot of people saying Toy Story, WALL-E, Incredibles, or Monsters Inc. Anyone who says they aren't would be an outlier or purposely being a contrarian; I'm not going to say everyone here unanimously agrees those movies are good, but the agreement rate is pretty high I'm guessing.
Meanwhile, if I made a movie about Rio, Robots, Peanuts, or Ice Age, it would be split 50/50 between those who like it and those who say it has major problems.
Nimona more like homophoba
Because it's an adaptation.
I like the movie because its the underdog. By all accounts it should be lost media but it survived a lot and came a long way from a scribbly little webcomic
Also Nimona acute
I seem to have a series case of queer fatigue, seeing as I tuned out as soon as the gays held hands.
Damn, the first gay male lead in a Cinemaphile movie and you're fatigued already?
>the first gay male lead in a Cinemaphile movie
That's can't be true, feels like every movie has had a gay guy in it. Unless I'm just crazy in the head. In that case Nimona is pretty groundbreaking
They aren't leads or they try to hide it until the ending. Even Korra from Avatar didn't get gay until the very end of the TV series. This one starts out with handholding and part of the big conflict is that they still have feelings for each other.
You might see a minor npc that's gay. This is the first "he's gay, he's in a relationship, he's the co-main character" for a movie.
It's amazing, just the other month people were going "its always lesbians never gay men: and now that there's a guy male couple folks are going "ugh. There's too many gay male relationships!" Weird.
>He fell for the "Disney's First Gay Character!" every single time
Anon...
>why do people think this is good, when I think it's bad?
Guy that hates the movie struggles with the concept that his opinion is not universally accepted?
Sounds about right.
This was just a western Kobayashi's Dragon Maid
Dont you have better things to do other than to complain like a basement dweller Virgin NEET loser who still lives with his mother. Yes the movie isnt that good, but what is your point of complaining?
>medieval world
>has tacos
A problem with the comic too.
Like you have people in medieval peasant clothes but then Nimona talking about ordering pizza or playing video games. I understand aesthetics but it kept throwing me out of the world. You can have a consistent level of technology and keep the knights and stuff.
>medieval world
You can tell who hasn't even looked at a trailer and just goes off assumptions.
>Hard shell
>medieval world
Anon it's literally sci-fi fantasy.
>my insides are itchy
Everyone in this movie looked too cute
This.
>blah blah blah
WHERE'S THE FRICKING FAN ART??
>can be any shape she wants
>is a fatass
Peak female performance
>tfw Nim will never wrap her plump legs around your neck
Because it ticks all the woke quota boxes so they have to pretend to love it.
They're right, you're wrong.
worse viral campaign than the new saints row game
>someone sends me a clip of this film on youtube
>wonder why it's not giving me an option to skip this Clash of Clans ad so I can view the clip
>mfw realizing it IS the clip
I think I'm in love, guys.
I want to FRICK Nimona
even if the main caracter is a gay, the movie is not woke
okay this movie was trash lol. wheres the porn of it?
>troons think it's woke
>chuds want to bang the main character
Simple
>Why are people calling this a masterpiece again?
I've never heard about it.
But let's see the poster: A desexualized chubby girl with pink hair look at you in a smug condescending way. Probably a woke leftie cartoon made by diversity hires to collect ESG scores.
>A desexualized chubby girl
Wouldn't be an issue if Japs designed it. They're willing to appease the dfc crowd far more than even the likes of ESG, who mainly targets trannies/blacks.
What's that supposed to mean? That when they do it, they know how to make them appealing?
>That when they do it, they know how to make them appealing?
Yes.
From what I see there are just a lot that enjoyed it quite much. Isn't the same as calling it a masterpiece, only users on social media do this but you find that for everything. Personally I had fun with it. Didn't do anything truly new and the plot was simple, but it's fine for what it was trying to do.
>Main character is a gay man
>I didn't even know about it because nobody made a big deal about it
Unironically refreshing. We don't need a thousand news articles just because some gays held hands in the background like we do with every Disney movie.
agreed
Maybe it's in part because the work it's adapting was gay from the outset. You can't do a lot of "Gay thing continues to be Gay" headlines, and fewer people get pissed off because it isn't changing something established, so it doesn't get the same level of outrage coverage.
>Anon, you don't think I'm a monster, right?
>Yes. No. clearly you are different, yet you are willing to speak to me in a way to understand. You are Nimona, correct?
People make way too much of a fuss over this. I simply watched it because I like armor and I like men and especially men who are wearing armor and it has adult male knights so I wasn't disappointed.
I also love adult guy/girl dynamics so it's even better. It's a somewhat popular subgenre in manga/anime too and it's great.
I couldn't get past the first 20~ minutes
>medieval + sci-fi - fine, but I've sat for 20 minutes and still don't know what the knights actually do in the future so it looks goofy
>clearly filled with regular citizens, yet use slander like COMMONER
>the COMMONER knight who didn't give a frick and trained hard to be a knight since childhood suddenly has major insecurities about being a knight and sounds like a sissy homosexual
>oh wait he is a sissy homosexual... and even if I weren't anti-gay, establishing a relationship early feels forced and doesn't leave much room for development
>the way the queen got assassinated was utterly ridiculous
>enter the dragon girl, the most obnoxious character who won't shut up and interrupts the knight for a full like 3 minutes.
All these and just the general artstyle and voice acting makes me barf. They can't even sync the sounds right, like when the COMMONER knight unsheathed his sword for the queen. It was like a stock sound that played for way too long.
>I couldn't figure out what the knights are for
They're super-police meant to protect the throne and fighting monsters. There haven't been any monsters (that we know of) for a long time, and they kinda shit the bed at protecting the throne, so there you go.
>Why would regular citizens be against a regular citizen being a knight?
This shit becomes engrained over time. When Edward VIII decided to marry a commoner (and an American divorcee at that!) there were plenty of people against it. Crab bucket and all that jazz.
And remember Ballister isn't just a "working class schmo." He was orphan guttertrash.
>I'm against there being a pre-existing relationship, but it's totally not that I have something against gays, I would say that if he was straight too!
No you wouldn't. It's because he's gay and you're looking for something to whinge about. "I didn't like that there was already a relationship at the start of the story" is not a sentiment you hear normal people say.
The reason for why relationship was already there before the movie started is that they didn't want to spend much time on it. If it developed on-screen there would have been too many scenes dedicated to them and if anything the framing rather made Goldie think about a break-up than getting closer to MC, which makes sense. If there was no deep friendship and love before that point I cannot imagine how they would have gotten together in that scenario.
The love-related plot was the threat of two guys that were together for ages separating, which makes sense with the given context.
Look, it came out within 24 hours of Ruby Gillman AND Unicorn Warriors both shitting the bed.
Was it groundbreaking? No. Was it good decent fun, with some pretty bits, some decent action, and a few laughs, that you could walk away from going "at no point was I bewildered, and I didn't think they wasted a perfectly good plot"? Yes. It was a perfectly fine movie in a year littered with shockingly poor and downright awful things..
>Unicorn Warriors
Now that was a big disappointment considering how hyped up it was beforehand. I don't have high hopes for Fixed or Primal S3 (y?) either.
There was a jarring shift in Warriors after episode 6. Episode 6 was titled "The Mystery of Secrets" and at this point I'm pretty sure we were being trolled, because at that point the writing stopped mattering. We thought things were going somewhere, and after that ep the "we're never going to tie this up, lol" loose ends started piling up. Pity.
>"The Mystery of Secrets"
Sounds like an AI Harry Potter title.
>Unicorn Warriors both shitting the bed
Man I wasn't on Cinemaphile much this week I didn't even know it ended already. I have seen maybe three threads about it so far in all those days but I didn't click them because I am not up-to-date with the show. I even want to like it but something doesn't sit right and not sure what it is. The plot was still very vague where I was but that shouldn't be an issue, think I just didn't like the interactions. They never felt personal or fun. It's strange because I adore SJ and especially Primal.
I'm so glad people are finally shitting on Unicorn, especially in a Nimona thread.
>Samegays trying to push the "Unicorn is shit" narrative.
Nah lad.
