Cameron was the only reason I even liked this movie

I think it's just one of the most prominent pieces at the Art Institute of Chicago. Personally I think Nighthawks would have been a better choice.

Cameron studies the painting and it starts with a wide shot, showing the entire thing. But the camera moves closer and closer into the image (Cameron’s POV) until the painting is reduced to just dots that don’t make up anything on their own. It’s Cameron’s realization that if anyone really looked close at him they’d realize that he’s just “dots” as well, that if anyone really studied him they’d realize he’s nothing.
