he wasn't just ugly on the outside, but on the inside as well, it was the movie's twist to contrast with megamind being externally villainous but not really a bad person
It was one of those movies that comes out once in a while with a very solid, original concept and good execution, and somehow managed to avoid being ground down into endless sequels and spin-offs for easy money.
also contrasting with the fact Hal decided to turn into a villain out of his own volition, while Megamind more or less was raised a criminal because he was raised in a prison and only really knew how to live and use his talents that way
>and somehow managed to avoid being ground down into endless sequels and spin-offs for easy money.
Until now. Really it's a bit sad that the movie getting recognition after 10+ years led to the shitshow of a sequel series. It's like with Clone High, it keeps happening.
It's a lesson for greedy corporates to stop bringing shit back from the dead. Megamind should've stayed dead but noooo, I felt like they knew it was shit judging from how the guy says "and you're welcome" In the trailer

Like he says "You're welcome" as if he's saying "Go frick yourself"
I'm actually convinced the people who made this literally did not watch Megamind. The very concept of the doom syndicate is a huge contradiction if you watch even the first 15 minutes of Megamind.

anon...
To be honest I'm just surprized it managed to last this long before being consumed by the IP cannibals that make up modern Hollywood. Even Spirit got a sequel before this film.
Man Pirates really fell off after the first one. Not to say that the continuations didnt make sense in terms of following up the first's plot, but execution of Will's daddy issues, pirate lore, and sword fights were just ok compared to 1. And all based on a theme park attraction. Still like Davy Jone.
I don't.
But if I had to make a guess the cultist fanbase of this schaffrilla guy is simply parroting what their god has told them : it being a "masterpiece"...
It's really smart for what it is. I especially like Metroman, he's my favorite part of the movie.
I don't know & i never watched megamind but this video always makes me laugh
nostalgia
It was a goood movie.
Cuz they were 8 years old when it came out.
Hey, I was 10.
I was 11
i was 13
identify with villian incel
It’s good.
What was his problem?
He was fat and ugly so his advances made him evil.
he wasn't just ugly on the outside, but on the inside as well, it was the movie's twist to contrast with megamind being externally villainous but not really a bad person
Suffered severe oneitis and nobody to really guide him and tell him his behavior is not acceptable.
>Played by Jonah Hill.
>Plays the shitty manipulative "nice guy".
>Year later we find out Jonah Hill is Hal in real life.
I mean, they had to know.
There are worse movies out there worshipped by zoomers, like Spider-Man 3
>Megamind
>Roxanne Ritchi
>Minion
Very likeable trio

The funny thing is, the writers of the original movie are the same writers for the new one and the series.

I love how we're now slowly seeing the rise of an anti-nostalgia counter culture entirely because of all the corporate nostalgiabait

The music was good
It feels like an animated movie for adults done right
>The Incredibles (2004)
>TMNT (2007)
>Megamind (2010)
We could use more movies like those.
your move
>Not getting the middle one
>Not getting a corner one barring that
You've already lost. Stalemate at best.
play it out
Why did you draw a tori gate on Mega Mind's forehead?
penis music
Rubberband is still good and old Renard was too. Too bad he trooned out and most the music uses less samples.
Same reason they like Shrek, they grew up with it.
Donno but they don’t like the sequel
P R E S E N T A T I O N
It's because it's a good movie anon.

Because lonely loser fat white guy is actually bad, so you're totally justified in bullying them.
NO MILLY?
I saw it a couple years ago, and I enjoyed it.
They see themselves in Megamind. Not realizing that most of them are Hal.
