There was an early 2000s CGI cartoon about transformers that turn into animals in prehistoric earth called Beast Wars. This is basically the transformers version of those disney live action remakes, banking purely on millennial nostalgia to make money
we all know about beast wars but aside from being a cool toy, what is the practical in-universe explanation for a space robot to be "in disguise" as a 12 ft gorilla?
I saw a trailer for it on YouTube and I thought it was an ad for Doritos or something until it revealed itself to be a genuine trailer. Shit looks embarrassingly bad.
Like, just...visually, it looks awful. It's ugly. The CG looks cheap. 56%s everywhere. The dialogue was fricking stupid. The concept is fricking stupid.
Even the poster gives away how bad it is. Look at the visible matting around the 2 little mutts. Look how it's just a bunch of PNGs slapped on top of each other. Frick. It's gonna suck, I'm glad I never got into Transformers because this thing looks like the kind of thing you'd try to keep secret about enjoying.
Who is this for? The Beast Wars cgi show was my favorite and I have very fond memories of it but I would never in a million years watch this, this is first time I even clicked on a thread for it. Usually with Transformers it's like yeah, of course I don't like it, the cartoon was for gen-x and the later movies were for little kids. But beast wars was my show - nobody's frickin made any attempt to appeal to me here. Or, have they and I just haven't heard about it. I know very little about this except that it doesn't look anything like Beast Wars the show
Pacific rim 2 type of movie. Same sort of rap music get it OWn till i Die trailer. but even more black people focus in this one, I guess because... wait seriously is it because of the jungle theme? why else would they make this one the 'black one'?
Transformers was a success back in 2007 because it was about a boy and his car. Gorilla Machines and a cast made up of TikTokers is not the answer despite what studio researchers are saying.
>Paramount Pictures
it'll flop but our friend dom will be working overtime to shill it here anyway
>A fricking gorilla is a transformer
What the frick is this?

Not watching it if there's no Dinobot.

Movie seems not real. The creatives' names are straight out of some text generator
