It's the most faithful adaptation of any of the Bond books. Yes, I've read the book, and no shit it's not one to one. Die Another Day just sucks. Shitty cgi, forgetabble action with the exception of the ice palace melting, and terrible script. Casino Royale has real stakes to it, and it's one of the few Bond films where Bond has a real arc. I like all the other Bond films with a few exceptions but Casino Royale stands out.
