I really liked this, I definitely wouldn't call it grimdark. There was something really atmospheric about it that just worked. Honestly would've loved to see something like this for more of the old Hanna-Barbera heroes.

Just read it and I wish they did more.
We almost got a cartoon in the 2010s that was supposed to play it more straight and have guest stars like the Herculoids. It got passed because consumer products didn't know how to sell it to a new audience.
We're also getting a new comic by Dynamite later this year.
Space Ghost is a great superhero design, but I don’t see a timeline where it’s ever brought back without c2c being extant
