Just watched this movie with my fiance. "Who do you think we learned it from?". Was that just an attempt to preserve his life, or was that line just to evoke a sense of despair on the viewers? Alluding that the war on drugs just creates more corruption and abuse between both sides (US Government and the Cartels), and it is never ending?
Mexicans like to use the excuse that cartel violence was initiated by the US government because of one single example of one particular cartel in which the top members used to train with the US military when they were in the Mexican Army.
he's just trying to justify himself. these heinous types of people have to find some way to rationalize what they're doing, it's very rare that they can just be outright horrible and admit they're doing it without any real reason.
the real issue isn't the cia enabling or whatever like this anon said

it's that americans fundamentally want drugs but are unable to publically admit it. the whole war on drugs is a war against market forces, we just outsource misery and violence to mexico and south america to fill the need
This is a land of wolves now.
is the sequel any decent?
it's enjoyable, but it isn't on the same level and pretty forgettable. it's worth watching just to see josh brolin reprise his role because of how fun the character is to watch
>it's that americans fundamentally want drugs but are unable to publically admit it
I can believe that leads to violence south of the border.
I don’t believe it forces the cartels to throw people into vats of acid, cut peoples hearts out or funky-town.
One of the guys in the black SUVs was telling how the cartels used "brilliant" tactics of violence and mutilation to instill fear and control on the Juarez population. Maybe that's what they learned from the CIA.
The off-the-books ops that alphabet boys pull off makes cartel shit look like child's play. You know those schizos that don't get past the psych tests to join the army, you think they just drop them?

Do you know shit about the cartels? The CIA trained guys are all dead/in jail and now the home-grown psychos have taken over. This isn’t the 90s, moron.

Yeah CIA definitely has some insane torture techniques but do you think we share all the good ones with the public/beaners?

Well, some time ago I read a testimony from an FBI agent who took the test to join the CIA. Despite being good, the best of the best he couldn't get in. After that, he found out that the CIA requires a certain level of psychopathy from its agents in order to do the job that no one else wants to do.
This movie sucked from the word ‘go’. No idiot would stuff bodies in walls in the heat of the desert or anywhere else, for that matter. And for a seasoned fbi agent to be surprised at anything she witnessed is absurd. In her position she would have heard rumors, hearsay or even classified reports about such matters. Nothing that happens in the movie would surprise even the most naive american
Every law enforcement officer in the country is constantly bombarded with images of gore, torture, and death for "training" purposes. No federal agent would be sickened by the sight or concept of dead bodies, they're all mentally saturated.
>No idiot would stuff bodies in walls in the heat of the desert or anywhere else, for that matter
Every keyboard warrior is an expert on cartels tonight it seems >“It’s more difficult [when graves are in residential areas] because they are private property and we have to go through legal procedures … it’s much more complicated than if you go to an open field,”
Thanks for roasting that fricking armchair expert. I absolutely hate when people shoot their mouths off like they know what the frick they're talking about, calling everybody else the stupid ones.
Let's see if that wienersucker comes back on here and admits he doesn't know shit and isn't entitled to give any opinions on anything at all. No, probably not, he'll just be back tomorrow playing the expert in everything again.
Hey homosexual, what do you have to say for yourself? You got DESTROYED:

Everything south of the Rio Grande was like the garden of eden until the CIA waterboarded every single person in Latin America with the juice of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Anything else is gringo propaganda.
Sicario 2 should have been about Emily Blunt getting involved with CIA and Sicario again because she cannot accept their methods. From there, her character develops until she either becomes as bad as them or clings onto her morals even as her life gets more and more shitty. It should be a pessimistic ending whichever way it goes.

Good post, thanks anon.

Or maybe the Aztec tradition never really died out.
When has the CIA employed such tactics? Never happened in Vietnam or Iraq.

>vietnam
They've done that, it's called Phoenix Program
It's the latter. At least that's what the movie is going for. The other two guys who replied to you are midwits.
There's no cope like latinx cope.

She ran a hostage rescue unit, not cartel shit.

they probably got sick from the smell tho
moron seeing something on a screen is not the same as seeing it in person
>moron thinking all the gore he's seen has prepared him for the real deal
you edgybois are so stupid.
Did I say that? It actually tends to make them psychotic and mentally unstable. The point is they wouldn't react like they do in the movie either way.
You have no point. You're a larping homosexual.
You are an insecure person looking for a fight where one does not exist.
I think it was more the stench of rotting bodies in the walls of a home in Arizona. Must’ve smelled awful.
homosexual the point of the movie is that she's too soft for this shit
>No idiot would stuff bodies in walls in the heat of the desert or anywhere else, for that matter

Boom. Headshot.

What do you say? Huh?
This is a land of wolves now.
is the sequel any decent?
>"you remind me of my dead daughter"
>threatens to murder her
what did he mean by this?
POV: you froze global
What was the point of this movie? And wasn’t the second just generic action schlock?

So literally a rehash of the first film? Man you could do really well in Hollywood.
