I don't have any comfort movie but I'm very comfortable watching independent films set in new york in the 70s to the 80s or early 90s. Especially if they have a small scale like After Hours.

So you like movies, good! Thats a fulfilling hobby that you can use to motivate yourself to work. Find a job that you don't completely hate, full time, part time, doesn't matter. Anything to get you out of the house a couple hours a day and put money in your pocket for your movie hobby. Try viewing your job as a means to fund your movie hobby:

      > Buy nice TV
      > Nice Sound System
      > Comfy seating
      > Nice theater lighting / decor for your movie watching area
      > Expand your physical movie collection

You can do this anon. And you'll feel better not being a totally lazy piece of shit 24/7.

I can't seem to get a job in my field and I'm really afraid of working retail. Anyway, just don't get fat, you don't want to be more miserable than you already are (skinny bro btw)

I don't have any specific comfort movie but movies that were filmed before the invention of smartphones really do it for me. Specifically older movies with romance subplots, it all seemed so pure and classy before the 2000s, it's fascinating. I was born early enough to surf good old internet before fricking iphone and social media came along to ruin everything.

I binge MST3K when I'm sick (which is rare), something about the old films, the low budget set and puppet designs, and the inoffensive silly humor of the show is super comfy to me.

Watching the Big Lebowski always makes me feel better when I'm stressed out or feeling overwhelmed

Oh and my age is 35, and the number of times I've watched Lebowski has to be at least 50 or more-- I've been watching the Big Lebowski 1-2 times a year since I was a teenager, usually in the summer and fall for some reason.

      I could fix her.

I wish I had a comfort movie, we're way past that. Maybe one where everyone dies like The Stand.

Do people not remember what happens or how do you watch something over and over? Just looking through a list of movies I've got they play through my head killing my interest.

    > Comfort Movie: The Big Lebowski
    > Comfort TV Show: MST3K or King of The Hill

I binge MST3K when I'm sick (which is rare), something about the old films, the low budget set and puppet designs, and the inoffensive silly humor of the show is super comfy to me.

Watching the Big Lebowski always makes me feel better when I'm stressed out or feeling overwhelmed

Oh and my age is 35, and the number of times I've watched Lebowski has to be at least 50 or more-- I've been watching the Big Lebowski 1-2 times a year since I was a teenager, usually in the summer and fall for some reason.
