I don't have any comfort movie but I'm very comfortable watching independent films set in new york in the 70s to the 80s or early 90s. Especially if they have a small scale like After Hours.

My life is over. I'm a HS drop out, I don't have any friends and I have bad social anxiety. I just sit inside and watch movies that bring me joy
You’re just a kid and you have an entire life ahead of you
18 isn’t a bad age to be in high school anon, how much more would you need to complete in order to get the certificate?
Just be yourself. No but really go get your diploma and figure it out in community college or else your stuck like this for life once you hit thirty.
If I started working and investing my money when I was 18 I'd be so fricking rich right now
So you like movies, good! Thats a fulfilling hobby that you can use to motivate yourself to work. Find a job that you don't completely hate, full time, part time, doesn't matter. Anything to get you out of the house a couple hours a day and put money in your pocket for your movie hobby. Try viewing your job as a means to fund your movie hobby:
> Buy nice TV
> Nice Sound System
> Comfy seating
> Nice theater lighting / decor for your movie watching area
> Expand your physical movie collection
You can do this anon. And you'll feel better not being a totally lazy piece of shit 24/7.
>18
heh, literally WHATEVER your issue that hold your back, you don't want to be 28 looking back and wish you did something.
While figuring out how it's not over ik the upcoming years, try not to get fat with all that comfort and free time.
Just maintain a good BMI.
what frick is up with zoomer men and feeling like it's over so early in life? Shit, I'm 22 and I feel the same. I'm KV, graduated college this year and I've been unemployed for 6 months. I can't seem to get a job in my field and I'm really afraid of working retail. Anyway, just don't get fat, you don't want to be more miserable than you already are (skinny bro btw)
I don't have any specific comfort movie but movies that were filmed before the invention of smartphones really do it for me. Specifically older movies with romance subplots, it all seemed so pure and classy before the 2000s, it's fascinating. I was born early enough to surf good old internet before fricking iphone and social media came along to ruin everything.
why would you choose to be unemployed for 6 fricking months instead of working for retail man.
also what field are you in?
H-haha, y-y-yeah. That's almost as bad as being 34 and going on 8 months of unemployment.
If you’re getting paid I’d say that is different. You can focus on finding a worthwhile job instead of just scraping by.
start now, do something about your problems - even if it takes a couple of years.
better to be 24/25 and just starting out than 30/40.
Lmao you’re definitely young enough to fix shit. Get GED. The test is easy.
This won't help you at all but the truth is credentials; high school and college are all bullshit and all that ever mattered was social connections. If you could have spent that time ingratiating yourself with people you would end up better off.
Go to the gym, you pathetic weak little sissy

I wish I had a comfort movie, we're way past that. Maybe one where everyone dies like The Stand.
Do people not remember what happens or how do you watch something over and over? Just looking through a list of movies I've got they play through my head killing my interest.
This is a great pic to show any woman with borderline
> Comfort Movie: The Big Lebowski
> Comfort TV Show: MST3K or King of The Hill
I binge MST3K when I'm sick (which is rare), something about the old films, the low budget set and puppet designs, and the inoffensive silly humor of the show is super comfy to me.
Watching the Big Lebowski always makes me feel better when I'm stressed out or feeling overwhelmed
Oh and my age is 35, and the number of times I've watched Lebowski has to be at least 50 or more-- I've been watching the Big Lebowski 1-2 times a year since I was a teenager, usually in the summer and fall for some reason.
