Zoomers will never know whta it's like to watch Tv

Zoomers will never know that moment when you stumble across a program you have never seen before but become invested in it so you keep watching

Zoomers will never feel that excitement when you carefully remember at what time your show is about to start and hope that it's either your favorite episode or an episode you have never seen before

Zoomers will never know the fact that we bought blank tapes to record a program to be sure we wouldn't miss it

All zoomers do now is just go on netflix or youtube and effortlessly chose what they wnat to watch, they will never discover anything new

How, exactly? People who pirate things are the least likely to have paid for it to begin with, so it's not as if companies are losing out on sales.

That's gen alpha. Zoomers grew up with TVs. We lived before streaming service. It's only in our mid to late teens that netflix and all the other streaming services became the norm. Some of the younger zoomers never experienced that as a 13 year old but times change.

I've been pirating stuff for years. Since like the age of 15 I fully embraced torrents. Rn they're so good. I can literally download a movie in 3 minutes max. Since I always have sequential download on and I watch films on the TV connected to my laptop next to the router, I basically can watch a film as soon as I hit download.

Find the streaming site you previously watched it on

Actually no, growing up with is stuff you associate with your childhood. That's why 90s kids are called 90s kids, because they were kids in the 90s.

You have a bad understanding of time. Spongebob came out in fricking 99. Nobody born in 98 would claim to have grown up on a show that was out when they were 1 year old.

98ers weren't old enough to watch the original run of Spongebob, but Nick showed reruns of the classic episodes 24/7 and the show kept going, although it got worse after the movie.

The issue I get from it is not them lacking conditions surrounding trying to consume inferior medium for nostalgia - it's that there is a lot less ability to come into contact with new things. I'm not the OP but I agree with him and go further; this applies to everything from tv, movies, to even music and things to do in life. People now don't get 'forced' to hear things on the radio they never would find otherwise and realize they love this band they haven't heard, they aren't sitting there with nothing to do and finding a new show they'd never bother with.

Once you know what you want now is absolutely better, but finding new things is near impossible when it comes to all entertainment now.
