Yeah man, Terminator and Predator are niche underground classics that only patricians like you have seen. Not like they're movies that every normalgay has watched and liked by the time they're 13.
Here's some underrated and under appreciated horror:
Invisible Man / Invisible Avenger (1954)
Peeping Tom
Wait Until Dark
Dressed to Kill
When A Stranger Calls (1979)
Altered States
The Prowler
Next of Kin
Heart of Midnight
Jack's Back
Communion
Deep Rising
Morgan

i'm going to check back in an hour and you had better update this pictures!
don't believe that hateful meme, Kolobos is a very popular movie in the underground horror scene and anti-kolobos haters like to pretend we're all the same person because i'm not even that guy what posted about Kolobos (1999) earlier but all this comments saying I am?!? ridiculous!
Suspiria 2 is Inferno (just ok)
Suspiria 3 is Phenomena (great)
fake Suspiria 3 is Mother of Tears (garbage)
fake Suspiria 2 is Cozzi's The Black Cat (great garbage)
Shock Treatment is kino and I hope you enjoy Phantom of the Paradise (you will)
>fake Suspiria 2 is Cozzi's The Black Cat (great garbage)
The Black Cat is awesome, it's no Suspiria but it's up there with Inferno for me. Insane movie with some nasty effects.
House of 1000 Corpses is much more like Spider Baby than Texas Chain Saw Massacre, down to even having one of the lead actors from Spider Baby in the film.
House of 1000 Corpses is much more like Texas Chain Saw Massacre than Spider Baby, down to even having one of the lead actors from Texas Chain Saw Massacre 2 in the film.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 are different movies. Agreed that TCM2 seemingly also influenced House of 1000 Corpses much more than Texas Chain Saw Massacre did.
Carpenter had a pretty solid career of directing horror movies.
Halloween (1978)
The Thing (1982)
The Fog
In the Mouth of Madness
Christine
Vampires
too bad he didn't end it on a high note.

Watched it for the first time in a long while last year and it's still solid (semi tied with 2 & 4 as best F13) but it's too fast paced so we don't get to know the cast like 1-4, no nudity, no comfy errie tone like 2-3.
Piranha 3D
Also, both My Bloody Valentine remake & Silent Night (2012) have full frontal nudity with bawds running around wearing literally nothing as they're chased and killed by the slasher
VERY GOOD > Halloween (18) >>> F13 - Part 2 = The Final Chapter = Part 6 > Wes Craven's New Nightmare >>> F13 - Part 3 = Part 5 = 2009 > Halloween 6 (PC) > Jason Goes to Hell > F13 - Part 7
GOOD > Freddy vs Jason > Halloween 3 > ANOES 4 - Dream Master > Jason X
How can people like horror movies? If they are bad, it's boring, which sucks; if they are good, it's scaring, which sucks. Sometimes they are disgusting too.
So, can someone explain to me how is it that people like horror movies? It baffles me.

They're fun and have cool visuals and atmosphere. I don't get how somebody could not like horror movies.

Stop sucking so many dicks you dumb ass homos. I kind of feel bad for you gays though. Your fathers used to be gay dick suckers too, so it might be a genetic thing.
I think I'm trash because I TYPICALLY prefer 21st century horror movies. The classics just don't seem to do it for me. Paranormal ghost-type stuff and monsters are my preferred horror types. I simply don't really care for slashers.
My favorites are:
A Dark Song
Mama
The Autopsy of Jane Doe
The Haunting of Hill House (not a movie but great.)
Alien
I really enjoyed:
Talk To Me
Smile
As Above So Below
Sinister
[REC]
Midnight Mass
Scared the shit out of me at some point in my life:
The Ring
The Bye Bye Man (Just that one scene)
Hell House LLC
1408
The Descent
Lights Out
I fricking hated:
Megan is Missing (piece of shit excuse to film gross fetish bullshit)
Men
We're All Going to the World's Fair
Martyrs (overrated as frick. idk why so many people love it.)
You Won't Be Alone (this shit could have been excellent if that b***h wasn't fricking asmr whispering in my ears the entire fricking movie)
Nope
Dead Silence (I hate all doll-related horror. Chuckie is just ok.)
so so so many more
>Watch badly rated horror film >Expect it to be awful because of shit ratings >It's actually kino
What horror kino is it for you? For me it's Murder-Set-Pieces.
I can't believe you mentioned that, I was going to in this post, lol
Agreed. Shocked how good looking it was. Most "extreme" movies are amateurish as frick.
I fricking love that movie, another that was higher quality than I was expecting
Weirdly, I've seen both versions and think the R-rated cut is better than the Director's. His other movie, Nutbag, is TERRIBLE.
Any of these you haven't seen? >alligator >psychos in love >razorback >student bodies >deadtime stories >xtro >cheerleader camp >scarecrows >don't open till christmas >grandmother's house
Haven't seen Cheerleader Camp, you just saved this coming Friday night. Haven't seen Student Bodies either, but I can't find it anywhere in decent quality.
>Haven't seen Cheerleader Camp, you just saved this coming Friday night
Hope you enjoy, it's pretty fun. Not a full on parody slasher but it's kind of a tongue in cheek take on summer camp slashers. >Haven't seen Student Bodies either, but I can't find it anywhere in decent quality.
Here https://ww1.m4uhd.tv/watch-movie-student-bodies-1981-238918.html
I use the Backup server, the other ones freeze sometimes.
Cheers lad, it gets hard at times finding horror flicks because physical copies are either limited and expensive, rare as frick or non-existent, and if they're too obscure no site ever hosts them.
Cheers. True that it's hard to find older movies sometimes, even when they're not that obscure.

cool. thanks for the reccommendation. seen most of the well known ones and always looking for recs. What did you think of Night Swim?
I remember you from /hor/ I think. I'd rec something but I think you'll already have seen everything I know, last time iirc I rec'd The Golden Glove but you said you'd seen it. I watched the original I Spit on Your Grave a few months back, you've probably seen it but it gave me similar vibes to stuff like Henry and Der Fan.
Maybe check out Communion (1989) if you haven't seen that. The surreal nature of the movie and Walken's unhinged performance reminded me of Possession.
>He thinks Henry is legit horror and I think it's more obscure or niche type.
What does this mean? How would it being obscure or niche preclude it from being horror?
Henry is also one of the least obscure films on his chart, you'll see it on "best horror" lists you'll find on Google but you're probably not seeing AU Penance, Nekromantic 2, or Der Fan on any of those unless you dive into the niche horror community.
The best horror is when it's unexpected. I was watching picrel (very good, not horror but it's a Hammer monster movie so /hor/bros might like it) and the stuff with the apeman cave was creepy. Had me on edge when the ape wanders in right after Tumak finds the skulls.
>MFW the horror film features a strong, independent, empowered , plus-sized black women and no nudity or excessive gore and it is also published by A24
>A24
Does A24 have any actually good horror movies? Besides Spring Breakers (about the horrors of having a daughter) and Uncut Gems (about the horrors of being israeli.)
Also you forgot >Movie doesn't shit on white male characters but represents them as real human beings instead of evil and stupid caricatures >No woke politics >No gays >Has a white heterosexual couple not shown in negative way >The black girl isn't racist against whites, is good friend with one white guy and has a crush on other white guy >Has no plot armor but gets manipulated by evil spirits and dies
His channel hasn't been getting the same amount of views it did before he did that moronic protest in solidarity with the Hollywood strike and he's desperate about it, he said he's gonna do only the most requested movies this year to try and get his views back up. Pretty funny it backfired so hard.
Degenerate alcoholic here
When I'm really plastered I'd frick probably anybody. I haven't fricked any guys yet, but I can easily see it happening, especially if he's pretty like John was in this, I've fricked some real ghouls before
Same director. He's only doing it because Silver Lake was such a box office disaster for them. Could see them forcing Aster to do a Hereditary 2 after Beau flopped, kek (they won't, I'm keeding)
>twins of evil >body bags >horror express >the loved ones >tales from the darkside the movie >inferno >night of the demons 2
You missed a ton. Also you're a moronic newbie if you think OP made that image.
>twins of evil
medieval drama but not a horror movie >horror express
absolute snorefest >inferno
if you watched the trailer you have seen every single interesting scene of that movie. it is extremely boring and not worth sitting throgh for just a few nice setpieces >night of the demons 2
90s teen shovelware, watch scream instead >tales from the darkside
not particularly bad but I personally dislike it for its cheap quality >the loved ones
lol, LMFAO! I hope you ain't serious... that shitflick is 2 hours of screaming, a moron copy of hostel
I will give you body bags, pumping that moron take up to a 1/10 list, bravo!
also I did not claim that OP created this, but he is guilty of reposting that shit in the first place... are you the gay OP?
Not a favourite, but I keep thinkint about the ending scene from "The final prayer / The borderlands". I hate that nobody has watched that stupid mockumentary, I've only seen discussions about it in Reddit.

None of these people like Schwarzenegger movies because they're "toxic masculinity" but I'll bet you every one of them loves their ooey gooey gorey horror goo.
Those types of people like your slop too. They like almost any sort of movie. Imagine hating a entire genre because some of the fans are homosexuals. I have seen tons of redditor homosexuals wearing terminator shirts and buying merchandise of it before. Also, some of them do hate some horror films, because le sexism and le objectifying womens!
>Imagine hating a entire genre because some of the fans are homosexuals.
imagine imagining
Fair points anon, but since he's not arguing in good faith, but from an emotional perspective, you now have mindbroken him:
This is usually the issue when trying to bring clarity to people willingly having a fit. It might be true that nothing punishes evil more than righteousness.
>None of these people like Schwarzenegger movies
Yeah man, Terminator and Predator are niche underground classics that only patricians like you have seen. Not like they're movies that every normalgay has watched and liked by the time they're 13.
>I like slop but only if it's my Arnie slop!
Holy shit and you're calling horror movies bad. Stop posting forever you fricking embarrassment
The Invisible Man (1933)
Evil Dead 2
A Nightmare On Elm Street
Probs one of those
>Evil Dead 2
That one is severely overrated
Why do modern horror films have no hot women and no boobs in them?
I like that bit in Xtro where she gives birth to a Whole-Ass MAN and it promptly kills her. Kinda turns me on tbh
Here's some underrated and under appreciated horror:
Invisible Man / Invisible Avenger (1954)
Peeping Tom
Wait Until Dark
Dressed to Kill
When A Stranger Calls (1979)
Altered States
The Prowler
Next of Kin
Heart of Midnight
Jack's Back
Communion
Deep Rising
Morgan
Altered States is as appreciated as it deserves, if not slightly more so.
I've never heard a normie mention it. First I heard of it was on either Cinemaphile or /x/.
Yeah because the normie doesn't watch anything past shit like this
>When A Stranger Calls (1979)
only to find that the calls are coming from inside the house.
lmfao what a dumb roastie. does she die at the end?
You obviously know nothing about the movie
are you seriously going to post a whole wall of purple postered horror films without the one that started them all? literally you couldn't have a horror movie with a purple cover art until Kolobos started it all!
i'm going to check back in an hour and you had better update this pictures!
Nice to see the kolobosautist is still alive
don't believe that hateful meme, Kolobos is a very popular movie in the underground horror scene and anti-kolobos haters like to pretend we're all the same person because i'm not even that guy what posted about Kolobos (1999) earlier but all this comments saying I am?!? ridiculous!
Having another schizophrenic episode I see
Swallow (2019)
Suspiria 2
Haven’t seen Phantom yet. is this the same anon I talked to earlier this week? Glad one other person recognizes what this is even from kek
Seems like Rob Zombie really wanted to make a TCM movie but had to settle for Halloween which he wasn't a huge fan of.
He's not going to remake TCM after ripping it off in House of a thousand corpses.
Watching Piggy.
Any more fat/hor/ kino?
Feed, bro
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Scream
Any small critter movie released recently besides Unwelcome?

what happened to change your mind about Jason Lives?
Watched it for the first time in a long while last year and it's still solid (semi tied with 2 & 4 as best F13) but it's too fast paced so we don't get to know the cast like 1-4, no nudity, no comfy errie tone like 2-3.
‘77 kino trilogy
You got 4/10
Recommend me some horror films filled with breasts and sex
X
The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh
Kolobos is a chock full of luscious breasts, it's basically hard core porn
Piranha 3D
Also, both My Bloody Valentine remake & Silent Night (2012) have full frontal nudity with bawds running around wearing literally nothing as they're chased and killed by the slasher
Any fun killer animal movies released recently besides the junkie bear?
Crawl (IMO the 3rd best killer animal film ever after Jaws & Rogue)
The Shallows
47 Meters Down & sequel
The Meg & sequel.

What's some nice horror movies about people wandering into forgotten research facilities that still harbor horrific experiments/monsters?
How can people like horror movies? If they are bad, it's boring, which sucks; if they are good, it's scaring, which sucks. Sometimes they are disgusting too.
So, can someone explain to me how is it that people like horror movies? It baffles me.
Hey, guess what! You can leave the thread. Bye.
>if it's bad, it's bad.
No way.
>if it's good, it's scary
Not really if you're an adult.
>Sometimes they are disgusting too.
Yeah, that's a good thing.
>So, can someone explain to me how is it that people like horror movies?
They're fun and have cool visuals and atmosphere. I don't get how somebody could not like horror movies.
no one actually does, these people are so sillly they think pretending to enjoy this types of movies makes them look like tough-boys but truly they are surely not
Stop sucking so many dicks you dumb ass homos. I kind of feel bad for you gays though. Your fathers used to be gay dick suckers too, so it might be a genetic thing.
The good ones achieve a middle ground between being unsettling/unnerving, while also having rewatchability and dark humor thrown in a bit.
Jacob's ladder, leptirica, or the collector
>leptirica
will give it a watch, I love vampire movies in the 19th century
Give me some horror movies that gen Z would hate because It have gore, sex and nudity...
From Beyond
Chuckie is just ok.)
so so so many more
How’d nobody mention the unholy trifecta from when I was 15?
>Salo/120 Days of Sodom
>Cannibal Holocaust
>A Serbian Film
Cannibal Holocaust is great but I've never watched Salo or Serbian Film.
Serbian Film is just a meme. nothing worthwhile, just gets you internet cool guy points if you can stomach it.
Serbian Film was kino.
Agreed. Shocked how good looking it was. Most "extreme" movies are amateurish as frick.
Yeah. Extreme horror is a kino idea but a lot of it sucks. The August Undeground movies are pretty good for being low-budget though
>Watch badly rated horror film
>Expect it to be awful because of shit ratings
>It's actually kino
What horror kino is it for you? For me it's Murder-Set-Pieces.
I can't believe you mentioned that, I was going to in this post, lol
I fricking love that movie, another that was higher quality than I was expecting
Weirdly, I've seen both versions and think the R-rated cut is better than the Director's. His other movie, Nutbag, is TERRIBLE.
>R-rated cut is better than the Director's.
R-rated one is really bad lmao
>His other movie, Nutbag, is TERRIBLE.
I agree with you on that one.
Only one answer: Jason takes Manhattan
New Blood was the best one IMO
>tfw I've seen just about every fun 80's horror movie
it's over for me, lads. there's nothing left.
Any of these you haven't seen?
>alligator
>psychos in love
>razorback
>student bodies
>deadtime stories
>xtro
>cheerleader camp
>scarecrows
>don't open till christmas
>grandmother's house
No problem anon. Haven't seen Night Swim, might check it out eventually. Also nice Satanic digits.
cool. thanks for the reccommendation. seen most of the well known ones and always looking for recs. What did you think of Night Swim?
Recommend me some kinos
not exactly KINO, but worth watching if you like horror. Night Swim. Also go watch The Night Flier. That was pretty kino.
Yeah that's me. I'll check out Communion
>I'll check out Communion
Hope you enjoy. Very strange film.
Also check out the commmunion girl. It's a horror movie from Spain.
Yeah I rmb him too. He thinks Henry is legit horror and I think it's more obscure or niche type.
That wasn't just me. Somebody else was saying it was horror too.
Price of Darkness (1987)
Seen all of Carpenter's stuff, Prince of Darkness is kino.
Scream is my favorite but Texas Chainsaw is the best
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre > Texas Chainsaw
wait, is one of the sequels actually just named Texas Chainsaw? I never saw any of them past New Generation.
Yeah lmao, that one is awful too
>I never saw any of them past New Generation.
You are lucky. 1, 2, 3, and Next Gen are the only good ones.
Halloween > Halloween >>>> Halloween
The best horror is when it's unexpected. I was watching picrel (very good, not horror but it's a Hammer monster movie so /hor/bros might like it) and the stuff with the apeman cave was creepy. Had me on edge when the ape wanders in right after Tumak finds the skulls.
Enjoyed this more than I thought I would though it's more of a comedy than horror.
7/10
>MFW the horror film features a strong, independent, empowered , plus-sized black women and no nudity or excessive gore and it is also published by A24
name 1
Talk to Me has
>Black Women main character
>No objectification of women
>No excessive gore or torture porn towards women
>A24
>Soi horror
>A24
Does A24 have any actually good horror movies? Besides Spring Breakers (about the horrors of having a daughter) and Uncut Gems (about the horrors of being israeli.)
Under the skin
Green Room
Blackcoats Daughter
The Lighthouse
Pearl
>Pearl
X is so bad that it ruins Pearl
I liked X but I don't bring it up here because it always turns into the same arguments that I've seen on here 1000 times.
It's unwatchable because of those scenes
I'm not having this discussion.
name 3 reasons why the film needed those scenes
>hurrdurr why is there porn in a movie that's marketed as a porn slasher
Also you forgot
>Movie doesn't shit on white male characters but represents them as real human beings instead of evil and stupid caricatures
>No woke politics
>No gays
>Has a white heterosexual couple not shown in negative way
>The black girl isn't racist against whites, is good friend with one white guy and has a crush on other white guy
>Has no plot armor but gets manipulated by evil spirits and dies
His channel hasn't been getting the same amount of views it did before he did that moronic protest in solidarity with the Hollywood strike and he's desperate about it, he said he's gonna do only the most requested movies this year to try and get his views back up. Pretty funny it backfired so hard.
everybody calls A24 THE slow burn art horror studio
it's less than 30 out of over 200 films they've produced
>watches horror movies for a living
>sees breasts
>"Yikes! This didn't age well!"
why doesn't he just cover feminist "revenge against the patriarchy" power fantasy movies then?
oh yes, because nobody would watch it.
The Thing (1982)
I think that In the Mouth of Madness was better
i still haven't seen it
So what happened in the 2010s that killed horror? Will it ever be kino again? New horror movies just don't feel like the old ones
What are other good occult horror movies
Any horror films that feature tentacles? Already seen Possession and From Beyond.
what the FRICK was his problem?
Degenerate alcoholic here
When I'm really plastered I'd frick probably anybody. I haven't fricked any guys yet, but I can easily see it happening, especially if he's pretty like John was in this, I've fricked some real ghouls before
Is this actually good?
Yeah
I hate that this is getting a sequel. They will frick it up
Same director. He's only doing it because Silver Lake was such a box office disaster for them. Could see them forcing Aster to do a Hereditary 2 after Beau flopped, kek (they won't, I'm keeding)
He's doing western neo-noir movie with horror elements with Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone and Christopher Abbott now.
As in Under the Silver Lake? Oh that movie is entertaining, if nothing else
It is pretty good, scary even
Silent Night Deadly Night 2 is unironically kino if you skip the flashback shit
It's funny when he murders the girl's ex though, then goes on a completely random rampage in the middle of the day
That part was kino as frick.
Haven't seen 2 but the first one is great.
Well you'll love 2!
Half of it is footage from 1
About 40 minutes is footage from 1
The other hour is original to 2
I went and watched the trailers of all movies I did not know off your fricking wall of fail, what a waste of time! The only watchable movies here are:
Blob
Exorcist
Body Snatchers
Demon Seed
Phantasm Series
Keep
Thinner
Lawnmower man
Where Thinner and Lawnmower are not really horror movies, that is a 6/70 hit ratio, moronicly done my friend!
>twins of evil
>body bags
>horror express
>the loved ones
>tales from the darkside the movie
>inferno
>night of the demons 2
You missed a ton. Also you're a moronic newbie if you think OP made that image.
>twins of evil
medieval drama but not a horror movie
>horror express
absolute snorefest
>inferno
if you watched the trailer you have seen every single interesting scene of that movie. it is extremely boring and not worth sitting throgh for just a few nice setpieces
>night of the demons 2
90s teen shovelware, watch scream instead
>tales from the darkside
not particularly bad but I personally dislike it for its cheap quality
>the loved ones
>"x isn't horror"
Horror films do not exist. All horror films are actually thrillers, dramas and comedies.
lol... are you serious?
>the negotiator is the same genre/energy/experience as evil dead
get your brain unclogged
Not a favourite, but I keep thinkint about the ending scene from "The final prayer / The borderlands". I hate that nobody has watched that stupid mockumentary, I've only seen discussions about it in Reddit.
Scary movie 2
