I only liked the DK racing part and the bingbingwahoo rainbow powerup scene at the very end. Mario felt kinda OOC but then again I’ve never played a Mario game so I can’t really tell. The Peach being a ninja warrior thing was definitely strange and it made her being sidelined in the final fight also strange

If it was, it wasn't very effective. I watched that movie over a dozen times as a kid, and I never came away from that scene with any other thoughts than "he's dancing with a fat chick that is descended from dinosaurs", and "I want to Walk the Dinosaur".
