I've rarely met anybody that mentioned any of those films IRL except for citizen kane or raging bull. They aren't "popular kinos", nobody is rushing out to watch them, they're sadly boring
These are classics according to the critics/cinephiles. They excel at things these people value such as writing, photography, acting, "meta-reference", pseudo-philosophy, editing, innovation

I thought it was boring. You hear so much about this movie so when you finally watch it it's like some important artistic event. Then it turns out it's a pretty normal early 40s movie.
Of those 9 movies, I've only watched Casablanca, and it was some of the most exciting 100 minutes I've ever experienced watching any movie. If you think Casablanca is boring, then you suffer from severe ADHD.
